I don't have the light fixture put up yet, but just pulling it out of the box is exciting. It is exactly what I ordered, quality is top notch and I am thrilled that I have found lighting that I love the looks of, and are at a decent price! Would recommend and will post pics when it is wired up. Got 3 of this particular light, matching thruout living room and entry way plus porch area. It ties them all together yet because they do come in varying sizes, that little difference is just enough to give a slight variation. I like two tones, my jewelry is gold and silver. This light fixture is wood and metal and it's just beautiful, suits the farmhouse style and lights sufficiently for its purposes. Entryway is bright with the day bulbs. The other 2 smallest ones are a tad more petite yet still crank out sufficient light. I am totally thrilled! One thing however, I find there is not sufficient info in which lightbulbs to usez. I love my new fixture. It changes the whole look of my room. I would recommend if you have it on a dimmer to make sure you buy the proper light bulbs for it. I loved the design and the ability to adjust to any height. Loved it so much I bought a second one. These fixtures stepped up our kitchen a notch compared to old fixture. We love them. Be aware of the bulbs you order for it. I purchased LED 6 pack 40w antique bulbs w 2700K light (slightly amber) and even though that makes 120W per fixture X 2 fixtures, it throws off only subtle lighting w 240Watts, not enough to light a room brightly. We ordered a very similar light fixture like this one for our Florida home but it was very expensive. Because this place is our vacation condo, we didn’t want to spend a lot of money and decided to give this a try. It looks very nice, it’s the right size and I like the two different colors that are wrapped around and in and out and in between of each other, a warm tan brown and the dark black. However the one thing I noticed but my husband did not until I pointed it out was when you look up at the inside of the drum, you can see where they Sauter the metal pieces together and it’s kind of a sloppy job. Not real bad but noticeable. The outside of the drum looks fine, it’s just the inside. We went ahead and hung it up and our guest arrived for a few days, and by the time I put all the lovely dinner stuff on the table and turned the chandelier on, nobody even noticed it. This is the reason I am only giving it 4 stars, I just always tend to look up at it when we eat at the table and notice it and it kind of disappoints me, especially when our Chandelier in the Florida home is so much nicer and prettier. I do like it though and it’s very nice at night when you turn it on. Gives off a nice soft light, and it’s not shining directly in your face or top of your head either. ... show more

My original light hung too low. This one comes with several rod to be able to customize the length you want or even flush mount it. It’s beautiful and seems well made. I love it!

Buy this. Splurge and get the larger one. My only regret was I did not get the same one for kitchen ceiling but this was a staging. Plus it would not be practical in a kitchen - still if it were my home? I’d have had the larger one in the dining area and the smaller one in the kitchen. Two tone wood color adds dimension. I used the pinecone lightbulbs which give off a softer tone as the clear glass bulbs gave a harsher light and no one wants a light to hurt their eyes. This light fixture gives excellent light post off the ceiling in this 1950’s cottage whose walls are finished in plaster and as such are not perfect.
