I bought this last year for our little guys when they were kittens and it was absolutely perfect. One of them claimed the top and the other claimed the lower shelf for their daily naps. They used the cave at the bottom when they were smaller and shyer (they came to us from a shelter as little scaredy-cats), but eventually preferred the open shelves. Both boys also loved the jute scratching post. The ball only engaged them for the first week or so, but it was cute, and it's nice that it came with a replacement ball for those cats who really love dangling things. My 15-year-old daughter actually put it together alone, so it was easy enough to assemble and very sturdy. I added cotton batting under the top part to make it softer as a bed, and made a little pad to place inside the cave, though just placing a little blanket it there for extra softness would work just as well. Overall, this was a great purchase and it was so cute to see our boys napping on it daily for months when they were little. It is sized perfectly for smaller cats or kittens. I love this cat tower, it’s great for kittens or small cats and it’s so cute. I used it as my kittens very first tower so she could practice and get used to one. I eventually got another tower that was much taller because once she got bigger I felt like she’d enjoy a taller tower with more things to mess with or go in. I kept this one however as a second option for her. I’ve had it just over a year now but unfortunately it started to get loose at the base of the pole so now it’s very wobbly and hard for her to balance on it. I tried to fix it but even when tightening something it’s clear that it’s just worn out. It was awesome for a while but I’d say it’s not a long lasting structure. Just something to keep in mind, don’t expect it to last forever most likely… but it was definitely worth getting it for her when she was a kitten. She’s all grown up now and still loves it though. :) ... show more

I bought the cactus tower for my son, Duke. As you can see in the photos, Duke with quite impressed. I find him nearly every morning on the top of the perch. He just barely fits, but he loves it. His brother likes to use it as a scratcher. What I like about it is the size. I’ve had some of those big towers before and they really are overwhelming in the room. This one is smaller and my cats are not particularly into being up on high places, so I thought this would work well and it does. I assembled this myself. My only recommendation is to have a helper with the first couple of steps, but after that, you’ll be fine on your own. Oh, this is also fairly light weight and I can pick it up and move it so I can vacuum around. I couldn’t do that with the other cat towers I had. ... show more

This is super cute and easy to assemble. However, it's small. My giant cat doesn't fit and pulled it over when trying to jump on it. Great for a kitten or small cat.

Five stars because I bought this specifically for my foster kittens and their petite little momma cat - in the photo is my lad Elliott, who‘s just shy of 3 months old and a whopping 4lbs, so that you can see how small parts of it are. I’m perfectly content since my brood are all on the smaller side, but if you’ve got a HEFTY CHONKER you might want to look into a different cat perch! ... show more

My cats use this a lot. They love the scratching post parts, the top bed and sometimes use the little pod at the bottom. It’s also cute to look at it’s not a complete eyesore in my living room. One thing I will mention is that my one cat is 7.5lbs and sometimes the top part wobbles when she jumps on it and she’s a little big for it but she uses it anyway ... show more

This is a decent cat tree for its price, but it may be a little small for bigger cats. I have a 1 year old boy (11lbs) and he barely fits on the top platform unless he coils up. Like shown in the picture his butt or head would hang out if he’s just laying normally. The middle platform is bigger so he fits better but it’s not as soft as the top one for him to sleep on, he lays there when he’s playing with the fluffy balls. The condo on the bottom is also a little tight, again he has to coil in there. It’s a little unsteady if the cat is excited when playing and jumping around but overall it’s nice, my cat loves it! If you have a normal size cat this will be perfect for you ... show more
