I just had to make sure it stayed in direct sunlight and wasn’t blocked by trees, since even a little shade reduced its charging efficiency. Because the sun and shadows shifted throughout the day, I occasionally needed to reposition it. That said, it was very easy to set up and proved to be a great solution when we didn’t have access to electricity. I was also pleasantly surprised by how quickly it charged in strong sunlight. Overall, it offers excellent value for the price.

This unit will void most power bank warranty’s (My bank is BLUETTI) Which the manufacturer of this solar panel doesn’t tell you. I hooked everything up; easy enough, but I noticed within 2 hours of full sun, my power bank didn’t move even 1%. It would’ve taken more than 25 hours to charge the bank 18 %. That’s unacceptable.

Overall, this is a great panel and is highly portable. I love the fact that it folds up easily and has a bilt in stand making it very easy to setup and move. The built in bag for the cables is really nice and works great. The panel seems durable and I had no problem connecting it to my charge controller and batteries . I purchased these about 6 months ago, and I finally got my chance to use them when camping this past holiday weekend. I used them exactly as instructed, I set them up in the forest, it was a max of 80° outside. After a few hours, I noticed the adhesive that holds the bag with the wire connections on the back of the panels started to melt, and the bag was starting to fall off of the panels. I am past the Amazon return window, but the paperwork said it comes with a 18 month warranty, so I sent them a email 2 days ago and I'm still waiting for a response.
