  • Great straps
Color: Blue
Very good quality straps. I use them to tie down my boat.

  • A really nice set of straps in an uncommon color.
Convenient zip pack of four white straps with four ratchet cranks to get them tight. These are 1” wide straps, rated 735lbs load and 2235lbs breaking point. They’re sufficient for whatever cargo might go in a truck bed or on a wagon. The clips are nice and have a vinyl coating, with the latch being covered with rubber which makes it easier on the thumbs. Includes four white 18” straps with each end looped and sewn. One end is folded flat and the other is folded with a twist, to loop thru more naturally. Includes two thin 24” bungees for good luck. They don’t match, they’re black. Also includes a sweet keychain that isn’t shown in the listing. It’s made of thinner seatbelt webbing and has a strong metal clasp. It’s a nice little wrist strap, good quality. These tie-down straps work like many others I’ve used. They have the same brass and steel mechanism. Thread the strap thru, pull it nearly tight, crank it several spins, until tight. Press the button to release the tension. I found with these, the button doesn’t let it spin freely, and requires pressure pulling on the strap to spin it free. Under tension, it will pull on its own, but if these are cranked from loose, they’ll release until loose then I have to pull the rest. This might just be because they’re new and the teeth in the ratchet gears are still sharp. I like that it includes a zip pouch to keep them nicely stored. The straps come coiled and held with rubber bands, which works fine. I could use some nicer elastic bands for that more than those two little bungees. These are 1” wide straps, which is the smallest ones I’ve seen. 2200lbs from that seems high, but I didn’t test it. They’re a lot like Rhino straps, it’s a premium set. ... show more

  • Heavy duty tie down straps
I really like the how all the straps and ratchets fit into the little case. It's nice to have them all together when I need to tie something down, I know where to find them plus they're not tangled up. I always feed the tie down strap threw the bottom threw the middle to make an upside down J. Then I feed the rope back threw and use the extra strap to make a not over the rachet for extra insurance that it won't come un done. It's better to have them then need them and not have them. ... show more

  • You need to understand that these are not really 2200 pound straps
These are pretty good quality ratchet tie downs - they beat the heck out of regular Harbor Freight straps. They operate well and the hooks are coated and have keepers to keep them from coming off. Now here is where you need to pay attention. These straps are NOT rated at 2200 lbs., that is their breaking strength performed in a lab under ideal conditions. They say the load capacity is around 733 lbs. Now there are two different kinds of loading... static and dynamic. Say you are towing a car on a flatbed trailer. When the car is first on the trailer and the trailer is level and you strap it down, the straps just hold tension. But when the trailer goes uphill, those front straps hold more of the total weight of the car...maybe up to 40% or so. Now things get interesting. If while driving along at sixty or seventy miles per hour, one of those little zipper cars suddenly cuts you off and brake checks you, this is where dynamic or impact loading comes into play. The forces on those straps can suddenly exceed a thousand pounds, each! That's why you see heavy loads protected by chains as well. That's why these straps are great for fairly light use and if you are moving something heavy, use more straps than you think you need and check their tightness after a few miles down the road. These are a bit expensive but not really when compared to other quality straps. But four is not enough. I ordered another set. ... show more

  • These ratchet straps securely tie down loads
This is a solid set of ratchet straps! Each strap is rated to hold 735lbs, so you can securely tie-down pretty much anything. A nice feature of these straps is that the metal pieces that come into contact with your vehicle are coated to minimize scratching. Additionally, the set includes a set of four looped soft straps and two bungee straps, so it's a nice bundle. If you've never used ratchet straps before, you thread the strap through the slot in the ratchet mechanism, and then crank it to tighten. The straps work well, except the strap release mechanism is fairly tight and could release a little easier. Oh, and another nice feature...the strap hooks have a carabiner-like locking mechanism so you can worry less about the hook popping free when you are tightening a load down. Overall...great ratchet straps! ... show more

  • Ratchet’s more durable than straps. Straps are meh.
Well, white was a poor choice of color for anything utility, but these did the job. The metal parts are definitely durable. They will outlive the straps. But after using these straps to haul timber on an ATV trailer, I have a feeling they will wear through in a season or two. The straps feel like they are better suited for my kids school backpack rather than utility ratchet straps. They may hold up to sheer tension, but I don’t think they will stay strong if they’re rubbing on anything they’re trying to strap down. Decent enough for the price, though, I’m willing to replace the straps whenever it happens. ... show more

  • Work Well
I ordered these straps because we were getting ready to haul an oversized old rocker a town over. Not being super familiar with rachet straps it took a bit to figure out how to work them to keep the tension on the chair but finally got the hang of it. The straps did a great job keeping everything secure and in place on the trip and released nicely when we arrived. They definitely work well and they store nicely in the handy plastic storage bag that came with them. I can't verify the "heavy duty" claim, but the straps look like they will last a long time for the type of "light" use I will use them for. Glad I got them. ... show more

  • Perfect
They work great. I've been using them for a few weeks now to tie down dirt bikes in the back of the truck and they are perfect for that. The latches help to keep the straps attached and the soft loops that come in the kit are perfect for wrapping around the handle bars
