This is a very nice electric stove. First thing I noticed was that it’s sturdy metal, not plastic. It’s a quick 4 leg screws to assemble and it’s good to go. There’s a decent variety of flame options to create the perfect ambiance, and the heater works quite well. We are using it in a 165 sqft room and primarily use the 500w setting. The frame doesn’t get too warm under use either. The remote works well too, although there is a small learning curve on setting wattage and temp, but not too bad. It’s really quiet, only a slight hum. I definitely recommend this if you’re looking for a realistic looking fireplace stove.

The media could not be loaded. This is an awesome small heater with style. I use it every night. It took moments to assemble. It performs without flaw each time I use it - I’ve had it for a couple months now. You can barely tell that it’s on. It heats up my huge bedroom with ease. For abt $100, that’s value for the money. I’m 5’6 and it reaches a few inches above my knee. I love that it has a remote control. I can turn it on in bed! It has four settings of light intensity, four settings for the flame color and four settings for the wood bed color. You can control how fast the flames go, up to five settings. The lone downside, for me at least, is that all remote control buttons are exactly the same and barely separate from each other. In the dark, it’s hard to tell which button is used for which setting. That’s why I use glow in the dark stickers to distinguish between buttons on the remote. But that’s my only down for this amazing device. And, should you lose the remote, you can use the panel on the heater itself. I’m so glad I made this purchase! One of the Best Buy’s of the year for me. I wish I could give it 10 stars! GO AHEAD AND JUST BUY IT!!!

I have a room with all antiques, but because of location is cooler than the rest of the house. I didn't want an ugly modern heater spoiling my decor, so I bought this. It looks adorable, and functions better than I expected! It keeps the room comfy, and I sometimes use the flames without heat just because they look so charming. It looks great in person, the flames look very realistic, and you can adjust the flame color and speed to your liking. The remote is definitely worth the slight extra cost. I use it multiple times a day, and it avoids having to stoop down and push tiny buttons. Also, the housing does not get hot (at least at the temps I use), so you can set things on or very near the back, top and sides. I'm extremely pleased with this purchase.

Update November 15th, 2024. I believe Amazon sent me a dud the first time. And upon receiving the replacement I was certain. They shouldn’t be allowed to do that. Thankfully, I had found the business’s website and contacted them directly and they were super responsive and nice. The new one came nicely packaged (with a remote) and no buzzing electrical wires. The electrical noise continued after the old unit was turned off so I immediately began a return. It should be a little noisy when it’s at full throttle but no more than a normal heater/ fan. Other than that it’s very quiet. I mostly use it for ambiance anyway since we’re having a warm winter but it has helped to take the chill out of the living room in the mornings. Very pleased! Original: It’s perfect for my fireplace and I love that the heat comes from the top instead of the bottom since I have curious cats. The is a slight hum even when the heat is off. I believe it’s from the rotating fire mechanism/ light. I don’t mind that however, it is missing its remote. I have reached out to the company via their website to see if they are able to send me a replacement as I don’t want to have to return the whole thing through Amazon. I believe I was sent a used unit too as the panel was loose and the cord had sticky residue on it that looked like from a sticker but was sticker-less. No bother I just stuck the panel back down and cleaned the cord. Will update my review if I hear back from the company.

The media could not be loaded. Puts out a decent amount of heat on low setting. I’ve only used it on chilly October mornings so far. It will be interesting to see how it works in the really cold months. It will shut off after the heat reaches the setting I have chosen. It’s an easy turn of a dial to turn the setting up or down depending on how much heat I want. I love the look of the old fashioned wood stove, obviously a fake fire but it still feels homey. It makes me smile when I turn it on. As you can see the cat likes it to. It’s a space heater though, so have to keep kids, animals and anything flammable a safe distance away. It was on a very low setting in the video. It sounds like a space heater, so not silent but not annoyingly loud.

Just bought this October 2023 haven’t even had it a full year with it only being used for several months last winter and just taking it back out two weeks ago to start using this winter and it’s stopped working. It had recently started smelling kind of like something melting after turning it off once house was warm.. If you’re looking for something that will last and is good quality I don’t suggest this product.
