The centered rear-mounted engine places power closer to the rear axle center, helping support balanced handling, stable power delivery, and off-road control. Is assembly required? Yes. It ships semi-assembled. Manual, video guide, and tool kit are included. Typical setup time is about 2 hours depending on user experience. What terrain is this go kart suitable for? It is designed for backyard trails, private property, grass, dirt, gravel, mud, sand, packed snow, and hill riding under suitable off-road conditions. What fuel does it use? This gas go kart uses 87-octane or higher unleaded gasoline and requires 4-stroke engine oil. Do not mix gasoline and oil together. Please add the correct engine oil before starting and check the oil level before each ride. Are replacement parts available? Yes. Replacement part assistance is available through Amazon Messages for setup guidance, troubleshooting, and parts-related support when needed.

You have to be a mechanic in order to have these things… Constantly breaking, nothing ever works, tires go flat in a few rounds. Honestly… you do have to have extensive mechanic knowledge to keep these things moving. If you are not VERY handy… do not purchase.

Need a moderate level of mechanical competence to assemble

Arrived ahead of schedule and ready for assembly. They provide tools, but really you should have a basic tool set to assemble yourself. Assembly took maybe 2.5 hours in my garage, and the engine fired right up and the machine performed flawlessly. Honestly better than expected construction, solid welds and decently tough steel tubing for what it is. Suspension lacks any damping but it's otherwise extremely effective. Overall an extremely fun toy to rip around my property at a very good price, highly recommend for anyone with a little money burning a hole in their pocket. ... show more

The rear axle and rear axle houseing are two separate sizes, by about 3/8. Meaning with one bearing in place you cannot press the other far enough for a snap clip (which was also missing). This will result in the rear axle bearing always pushing out in time. Simple fix, welder baby...fortunately I have access to a lathe and will correct it that way. Great Family Fun

We have had a great time with these go karts. They are perfect for riding around on flat, hard-packed ground, and the kids have been enjoying them nonstop. For adults, they still feel fun and capable on smoother surfaces, while lighter riders seem to get the most out of them. Unboxing takes a bit of effort, but once everything is laid out, assembly is pretty simple. I even let the kids help put their karts together, and they were excited to be part of it.
