    • Actually cool. Little backyard pellet stove
This is a great little stove through the backyard or sitting around at night. It'll thaw some heat and it's easy to start, but you're also have to refill it often. strongly recommend

    • A tiny column of fire is ridiculously cozy outside
This is somewhere between a little patio heater and a tabletop fire feature, and I like it mostly because watching the flame is half the point. Once the pellets get going, the flame travels up through the glass tube and gives you a tall, visible column of fire without taking up much table space. The whole thing is only about 10 inches square and 20 inches tall, so it works nicely where a regular fire pit would be ridiculous. It throws some heat, but I would not buy this expecting it to warm an entire patio. Think of it more as personal warmth around a table along with the atmosphere of a small fire. Sitting nearby on a cool evening is lovely. Pellets are also easy to deal with. They store neatly, pour in without much mess, and I do not need to keep a pile of small firewood around for this. At about 8 pounds, it has enough weight to feel stable but is still easy to move where I want it. The glass gets hot. The metal gets hot. This is real fire, not a decorative LED effect, so placement matters. Keep it away from anything flammable and use it outdoors in a ventilated area only. For evenings on the patio or at camp when I want a little flame without building an entire fire, this is a fun little setup. ... show more
