This is the second of these tarps I've bought off of Amazon in the last 18 months. I use it to cover my 19' FunfinderX trailer and wrap it like a Christmas present, just as others here have said. As I type this the old tarp is still on the trailer but is becoming worn thin (as all tarps do) and a small tear has just developed. I live in Central California and it was very hot this summer with nearly two months worth of 100+ weather so this tarp probably held up well considering. I figure it makes sense to buy these cheaper tarps every other year or so than spending hundreds of dollars on a trailer cover that will probably only last a couple of years anyway. It's a good amount of money, but don't compare it to the crap they sell at Wal-mart. These are heavy duty, nice tarps. I'm a bit conflicted about getting white--it sticks out like a sore thumb in the woods when we're camping, but it reflects some light and still lets some through, which really nice at times. Honestly, I got it mostly to keep out campsite dry, so I wasn't focused on color, just durability and price, but the light coming through has been a nice touch. Beyond color, this is a great tarp. VERY strong and HUGE (a little more than we have ever needed, but we just fold it in half or let one side fall to the ground almost like a lean-to). No regrets buying this and I'm sure we'll be using it for years to come (definitely worth the price versus buying 10 crappy throw-away tarps over time). ... show more

Purchased July 3rd. Installed July 7th over my boat. Ripped August 17th from a mild rainstorm. You would think “heavy duty” means it would last more than a month. And for $75 not worth the cost

This is a strong and well made tarp. Unfortunately I had a problem with two grommets pulling out the second time I used it (on a camping trip). So why the five star review? Any product, no matter how well designed and made, can fail. No manufacturing process is perfect. The key is what happens after it fails. I contacted the manufacturer by email (I didn't use the tarp for the first time until a number of months after I had bought it from Amazon so returning it wasn't an option) and explained to them what happened. I heard from them the same day. They apologized for the problem and agreed that the tarp should not have failed as it did. After sending them a couple of pics of the damage to confirm, they promply sent me a new tarp. If they didn't believe in their product or satisfying their customers, they could easily have brushed me off. Instead they completely remedied the problem.
