    • Great alternative to dealer
My tractor would break-up and run rough when the choke was off. I tried cleaning this old carb but it needed replaced. The dealer wanted almost $300, I saw this and figured I give it a try. Installation is a bit tricky cause you have to reuse the plastic linkage clips. I used a small pick to gently release them. Everything matched up perfect. I installed the carb and started the engine with minimal cranking. Then I changed the fuel filter. I didn’t want to overheat the starter by trying to prime the filter and fill the carb bowl both at the same time. I mowed about an acre of grass, throttle response was flawless and tractor ran like new. ... show more
