There is no manual that come with this product, other than what is shown online or printed outside of the foil envelope it comes in. So, no guidance if you need to make customizations around wheel wells or slideouts. Also, the envelope states: "The LED strips, must not exceed 5 meters, when used in a DCseries circuit." However, 5 meters is 16.4 feet and the strip is 20 feet long. Meaning this statement is incorrect and we don't know what the actual limit is.

This was a simple replacement for an existing awning light. The original awning light on my RV was built into the roller and wires threaded through the edge of the awning fabric to the side of the RV. When I had to replace the awning there was no option feed the original wires through the new fabric, so I used this as an alternative. The strip was easy to cut to size and stick to the side of the RV just below the top of the awning and connect to the original wiring. It give a nice blue light that illuminates the area of the awning without being overly bright.

Ordered these to install under my travel trailer as an underglow effect. The awning lights are blue and thought these would be a really nice addition. They were easy to install and wired them to a switch at the battery box. They are nice and bright but not overwhelming. Just right and work great.

Getting the lights up is simple, quick and easy. But, you do not get the plug that is needed to make the lights actually work.

LED strip arrived in good condition on a roll and in just a thin plastic Amazon bag. The strips itself is a continuous roll of 20ft and can be used for more than just RV applications. Being IP68 they are good for any outdoor application. They do not have a USB or other power plug connector, you hard wire it your your RV, Automotive or other 12V DC supply. You can cut them, at more power lines and actually not need to make just one application of 20ft out of them. The strip is brighter than I anticipated and lights up the immediate area well.

Basically what you're getting is a roll of blue sulfur adhesive light strip that's been attached with a male female lead or power ground lead. And then they give you a little section of extra wire and some little clips to help it when you mount it. To the side of your trailer, but there's no instructions. There's no control on off switch. That's basically what they want you to do. Is pull your exterior light off and tag into that? And Call it good which I thought was kind of funky. So I don't think it's worth the money. Since you know it's such a limited item list, it don't even come with some basic instructions for somebody that has no electrical background or anything like that. It's pretty d*** shame. You could do better getting one with the control system on it.So you can change the colors or you know, they even got them that flash and things like that.So my suggestion is looking a little longer for something a little better
