  • Can not be left on continuously.

FYI it can not be left on continuously. I bought it for my RV and wanted it to be on continuously. It probably states such in the description so my fault.

  • Ultrasonic pest repeller with multiple modes and strobe lights to target different types of pests Ultrasonic pest repeller with multiple modes and strobe lights to target different types of pests
Amazon Vine Customer Review of Free Product This ultrasonic pest repeller seems to be the real deal. While I can't say with certainty how effective it is at driving away pests, I can say that I haven’t had any rodent or insect issues since I started using it. I’ve used a few similar devices in the past, so I’m using those as the basis for comparison. It has four modes of operation, each offering different frequencies and patterns to target specific types of pests: Mode 1 is intended for insects. Mode 2 is geared toward general rodents like mice and squirrels, making it a good choice for garages or attics. Mode 3 focuses specifically on mice. Mode 4 is the one I consider the most useful, as it cycles through all three modes automatically. The device also includes omni-directional strobe lights that are designed to unsettle and repel rodents, adding another layer of deterrence. From everything I can tell so far, this looks like an excellent option for indoor pest control in storage areas or utility spaces. If I had to nitpick, I’d point out two small things on my wishlist: 1. The strobe lights could be a little brighter — a different device I own does seem to flash more intensely. 2. It would be great if it had a built-in rechargeable battery, which would make it usable in places without a nearby outlet, like while camping. ... show more

  • Preferable over other deterrents
We live in the country and our winters are pretty harsh so mice are inevitable. I've had this running for a couple months now and it seems to help keep the little pests away. I hate using anything that ends them because it's sad and annoying and gross to have to dispose of. Love using this.

  • Too Loud - Not Ultrasonic
So does it work? Well... Here's my experience over the last week and a half of using this. I'll also share what they DON'T tell you in the description. I've been using it on the "ultrasonic" mode. I use quotes because it's not actually ultrasonic. You can hear it even on the lowest setting. It sounds like a mosquito that's about five feet away from you. Constantly. In the time that I've been using this, I've seen two mice (that my dog caught). Have I seen mice prior to using this device? Yes, three in the past year or so. But this experience was a bit weird. It tells you in the description that during the first couple of weeks, you'll notice an increase in activity, and we have. I'm going to discontinue using it though, and here's why. According to the instruction manual (and NOT in the product description), there are three settings: 1) The ultrasonic wave: for Insects, Cockroaches and Spiders. 2) Pressure Wave & Ultrasonic Wave: for Mice and Squirrels. 3) Pressure Wave: for Mice As you can hear in the video reviews, as well as what the description says about the Pressure Wave and Ultrasonic Wave (2), it's for use when you can handle a little bit of noise. It kind of sounds like a quiet transmission constantly being sent. It's just loud enough to be slightly annoying. It's definitely NOT ultrasonic. The reason why I won't continue using this is because I'd have to have it set at Level 2 in order to see a difference in the amount of mice that may be living in our home. We live in a very wooded area, so we definitely have our share of rodents hanging around. I hope that helps anyone looking to purchase one of these! ... show more

  • Bleeding ears ahoy!!
Okay, I can't put into words how much I wanted this thing to work. We live on the edge of the woods. We get mice. Meatball the Cat likes to catch them, then wait until I'm just sitting down with my morning coffee to present to me her latest kill. She's shredding our butcher block counters when she pounces on these guys. I see this device. Safe for dogs and cats? Good for an indoor space up to 1300 square feet? Perfect! Shoo the little nibblers out of the basement and back into the woods. Friends, this thing is not super sonic or ultra sonic. It's just loud. And shrill. The spider setting is tolerable, but the next one up, the squirrel setting, is just a vicious high pitched scream. Like nails on a chalk board but more sustained. Made the cat's panic. Made me go cross-eyed. Next level, the setting for mice, was similar, but louder and pulsating. Then you had the setting that cycles through all of them. On my video, the steady whines don't seem to come across. Trust me: the human ear can hear it. Millie Meow started howling her objections. The mouse setting was clearly audible in the video even on my cheap and ancient phone. I can't imagine running this inside your house. It's a shrill scream, clearly audible to people and pets. Great idea, but definitely not for use around people and pets. ... show more

  • Spiders, be gone with you!
I got this “Triple Rodent Chaser” specifically to decrease the spiders in our home. I’ve always had a fear and disgust reaction to spiders and have tried lots of ways to prevent and/or eradicate them. I like the idea of this ultrasonic pest repeller the best because there’s no smell, no toxins, nothing to use up or keep replacing, and nothing to have to dispose of. It doesn’t kill anything, it just “irritates” them so they choose to leave and live elsewhere. I just plug it in and it keeps working 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (though it can also be set to a timer of 4, 8, or 12 hours a day). Out of sight, out of mind, hassle-free. Plus, it works for other insects as well as mice and bats. (Yeah, squirrels, too, but they don’t bother me like the other creatures do). The longer I keep using it, the more effective it will become over time. The machine is quite small and I have it plugged in around the center of our home and tucked into a closet. It supposedly can go through walls and covers 1300 sq. ft. I keep it set on the Ultrasonic Wave Mode so it won’t bother any humans or pets in the house – just the unwanted creepy creatures. After using this a few weeks, I am no longer seeing as many spiders as previously. What a relief! Great solution! ... show more

  • Absurdly loud
It may have been my own mistake for ordering. I’ve had pest repellant machines in the past; I was using some in various parts of the house when I ordered this one, in fact. Those were silent and did the trick, except for mice. So, given our proximity to woods, I needed something to deal with the occasional mice problem that arises. You can’t run this thing while you’re in the house. It’s loud and obnoxious, on any level, any mode. Running it continuously would drive you mad—it actually left me with a headache after a while, and I only ran it for an hour or so, while I was in the other room. I have no idea if it works. I went back to using my own repellant devices, and will be looking for something else for the mice. I’m not willing to trade my own ear and mental health for an anti-mouse device. Obscenely high price for something you have to leave the house to use. ... show more

  • Great Range!
Picture this: I plug this thing into the wall and suddenly every mouse, spider, and uninvited six-legged squatter in a two-block radius starts reevaluating their life choices. This isn’t just a pest repeller. It’s a sonic reckoning. Let’s talk modes. It’s got four, and they range from “gentle persuasive hum” to “metallic banshee screech.” The last one made me question my own moral alignment. But hey—it also made the squirrels disappear from the attic like they were fleeing the IRS. Claimed coverage? 1300 sq. ft. That’s a whole apartment’s worth of “Not Today, Rodents.” Bonus points for the timer and LED display that glows just enough to say, “I’m working,” without turning your hallway into a rave. Downside? Yeah, it’s not actually ultrasonic. You’ll hear it. Your pets will hear it. Your neighbor’s cat might file a noise complaint. But it gets results. No traps. No toxins. Just cold, electronic justice. Final verdict? Plug it in, crank the setting, and watch the pests pack up like they’ve got eviction notices from hell. It’s not subtle. It’s not cute. But it works. And I respect that. ... show more
