It runs quietly enough that you forget it’s there… until people walk in and say, “Wow, it smells really good in here.” That said, this machine really shines in commercial or semi-commercial settings—think hotels, Airbnbs, offices, clinics, small retail spaces, or very large homes. If you’re just trying to make a bedroom smell nice, this is probably overkill. If you want your space to smell intentional, this is the right tool. Important tip for anyone chasing that Ritz-Carlton / Four Seasons vibe: Use professional fragrance oils (Fragrance Oil / Scent Oil), not natural essential oils. Essential oils aren’t “bad,” but in large spaces they tend to smell one-note, fade fast, or get sharp. Luxury hotels don’t smell like plants—they smell like well-balanced, layered scent compositions. The app and the item work perfectly. I installed this in the HVAC system. It came with all of the parts to install other than some metal tape to secure the line into the unit. I just have one issue, but because this isn’t located in a public place I didn’t take a star away. It is probably 4 1/2 star. The magnet on the fob was installed or glued upside down so it would not release the scent container. Once we got it unlocked and pulled the scent container out we just taped over the lock so it is a non-issue now. The scent bottle says it is 1000 mL but it is larger than that as I put 500 in it and it did not even go up halfway. I have not owned one of these before so the way it works is that it goes on for a certain amount of time and then off for a certain amount of time like 15 seconds on two minutes off. What that means is that if you want this to work All day, you need to turn your fan in your air conditioner too on instead of auto. If not, you’re gonna be wasting a lot of oil. It also has a timer so we turn it on at 7 AM and turn it off at 7 PM. I wish I had bought one of these years ago. Whole house smells like whatever fragrance you pick.

I almost never write reviews—like, ever. But today, I felt compelled because this scent machine deserves a standing ovation. I was skeptical at first. I looked at it, shrugged, and said, “You know what? Let’s see what happens.” And oh… I am so glad I did. First of all, this thing is magical. I walked into my house after it had been running for a few minutes, and I swear, I didn’t enter my living room—I entered a luxury hotel lobby that someone forgot to charge me for. The smell? Absolute perfection. My furniture suddenly felt more expensive, my carpet felt softer, and even my cat gave me a look like, “Who let you upgrade the house without me?” I cannot overstate how phenomenal this is. People will walk in, take a deep breath, and ask if I hired a professional decorator or if I’m secretly a millionaire. The scent fills the air evenly, not like those sad little plug-ins that make one corner smell like a candle exploded. No, this is house-wide sophistication. It’s so good, in fact, that I find myself walking from room to room just to bask in the aroma. I’ve considered renaming my house “The Ritz-Everette” because that’s the level of luxury we’re talking about. In conclusion: if you are debating whether or not to try this scent machine, don’t debate. Just do it. Your house, your friends, and your very soul will thank you. Five stars? This diffuser can put out a lot of scent. It controls easily through the Smart Life app. This app can be found on the normal app stores, not a side-load so it is safe. You likely have Smart Life installed already as well as it is very common for smart appliances and devices. The setup is rather flexible, able to be configured to connect to our HVAC, wall or table mounted. If you have the common small diffuser bottles filled with your favorite liquid, you may want to get some of grater volume because it will hold a whole liter. Over time, this can save a lot of money as you can find liter bottles much cheaper per ounce than their smaller counterparts. It's not a good idea to run this in a smaller room. It is so powerful that it’ll really over power your senses. It works much better in a large open area, or better yet connected to your HVAC.

I was so excited to get this as a gift from my husband after asking for one for a long time. However, this product stopped producing scent after less than two months. I have done troubleshooting and cleaned it out how the directions stated multiple times and it still produces nothing. I wish I could send it back. Not worth the expensive price at all.
