This review is for the SKYEGG 2025 updated android 15 tablet. Updated review: Along with everything I state below, I just wanted to say that after more than 3 months, this tablet is getting better! The battery lasts so much longer on Netflix movies compared to my old tablet. I don't worry about running low on battery like I did with my old one. Also the video quality is excellent and sound is really good (stereo) compared to any other mobile device or laptop that I have. I'm so glad I got this one. It's a great buy! Original review: This tablet is fast and full of features. Out of the box, (see photo), it came with a screen saver, case, keyboard, mouse, charger & cable, manual, and and extra screen saver. What I liked right away was that the screen saver sheet was already installed with only the #2 protective cover of the screen saver needing to be removed. That is a really nice feature for me because I never install those screen savers correctly and get too many bubbles. I'll probably never use the extra one, but it's nice to have. The case has rubber corners that I like, as they will help prevent damage. The case also doubles as a functional stand (see photo). It works well. It can be adjusted to many angles and it is stable. The keyboard (see photo), if needed, sits onto it nicely and helps secure it too. The tablet boots up very quickly, much quicker than my Android 14 tablet. All the accessories worked perfectly the instant I installed them. The mouse and keyboard function well. My test for a tablet has been to see if I can run Quicken Classic Companion app. It runs slowly on my phone and my Android 14 tablet. I want to use it when I travel but it's usually too frustrating on my phone or tablet, so I have to bring my laptop along as well. I ran Quicken on THIS Skyegg Android 15 tablet and it works very well! I'm impressed! I think I finally can leave my laptop at home. It also has very good screen quality for apps like YouTube, Netflix, etc. It has stereo speakers that are a definite step up from my last tablet, however I can't say that the sound is movie quality, but considering it's a thin tablet I think it's very good. Just sayin. The camera is amazing. It has 3 lenses and is called an AI CAM (see photo). The camera app has an AI mode for taking photos but I haven't tried to use it yet. I don't normally take photos with my tablet, but I'll check it out eventually. The tablet has a larger capacity battery than my old one and seems to last a bit longer, but I can't really tell yet. It seems to have more power saving features, so I believe that will help. I've watched some movies on it and it is better quality than what I had and the battery seemed slightly better. But still, it's smart to keep it plugged in while watching movies as this is a big power drain, just like my phone and my old tablet. There is one little thing to mention. When in landscape position, it is 3/8" taller than my old 10" tablet. The width is the same. Both tablets have the SAME VIEWABLE screen dimensions, it's just that this one has a little thicker frame top and bottom (see photo; my old tablet is in front of the new one and I have them pressed together). It's ok with me because it still fits in my tablet bag. But I thought I would mention it in case someone has their own case to use. Better check the size. I don't know, maybe all the newer tablets are this way. However that doesn't change my opinion; this is a great upgrade and a really nice buy!

This tablet is a very easy to use and set up with a lot of functionality. However, the included charging device (black brick) overheats, getting way too hot to touch after a few minutes. It cannot be used or will damage the tablet's battery. Amazon was wonderful in getting consideration for this issue.

I just got this great tablet 2 days after ordering it. Finally, a fantastic android that's the perfect size & weight. Very easy to set up & use. I skipped over the set up pin/password so I don't have to sign in every time the screen goes black. The printer connected immediately to wifi, & my emails all transferred over from an android phone that had the same Google Acct. I want this tablet separate however, from the apps & content on the cellphone. I recommend this device, especially to the aging population over 65. It does everything the bigger screens do, but it won't hurt our muscles & bones as much. The picture quality is excellent as are the speakers. It is fast going from screen to screen & getting off & on the apps you need. It is Google oriented & comes with all of those apps. I don't see any pre-installed annoying apps we don't need anywhere. It comes with a thick screen protector that I believe you can reuse, plus there is another Screen Protector inside the box. There is a heavy duty case. It came with the tiny metal "reset" device, black charging cube, usb-c cable and it was CHARGED AT 94% on delivery. The physical manual seems complete. There are 2 apps for kids, but you must set up a pin or you can't access. I just want to see what the kids apps do. There is a full black keyboard & big mouse too if you'd like to use. This is an incredible deal & I look forward to using this tablet for many years. Thank you for offering this.

Excellent tablet, boots up fast, easy to setup and packs a punch for it's size. Battery lasts a long time, processing speed is fantastic for the price and graphics and animations are surprisingly sharp and clear for a tablet at this price range. I'm currently using this to run work apps as well as play a few games and so far it has not disappointed. Setup is very easy and the extra hardware is a nice to have (keyboard and mouse). UPDATE: June 11th, 2026 - Charging port got super hot, fried itself to the point of no longer charging. Reasons why hate Bluetooth as an audio platform for transmission, here's why: I purchased this table new in mid October 2025, so just under 12 months of use. I mainly use it 2 ways, in the car for streaming via Bluetooth audio as an MP3 Audio app (Pulsar Plus+), this is maybe 1-2 times a week for about 30 mins to an hour, so not that often. Otherwise I've been using it daily at home for a couple of hours for very light online gaming, nothing intensive, same 2 games that are task based over our WiFi network. I usually use it plugged-in and let the OS manage charging. It's been a fairly solid performer in both realms up until recently. I noticed the charging port was getting fairly warm, no big deal. Lately it was getting hot, burning hot !! So it might have caught fire if I didn't disconnect it, I use a cable that shows the wattage and it was flashing. Checked it against other devices, not the cable or charging port, Definitely the Tablet ! Normally I just hop in my car, start it and the Bluetooth automatically connects within a minute or so, I don't even have to open the tablet, it just needs to be on or in stand-by. I have a power adapter for it, although since I only drive for about an hour I would never drain the battery anyways. Audio has been great for the most part, it picks up on the song where I left off, same volume and the output is decent with very few glitches and I have full control through my steering wheel and console and even the album artwork comes through to the vehicle. But all the sudden one day Bluetooth just stopped connecting, it would connect but the display would say 'No Audio'. I tried resetting and repairing everything, both the car and tablet. Dumping profiles, restarting etc... Just more reasons why I despise Bluetooth as an audio connection, it's just unreliable and always glitchy. I finally got it to work again after a bunch of trial and error methods, but now I have to manually start the audio player from the tablet for it to recognize the connection, otherwise nothing happens. The care also no longer controls the audio player like it used to from the steering wheel, only in one listing mode. Uggh. Also, sometimes the tablet would crash during game play if too much was happening on the screen at once, usually animation transitions. So I take back some of my original review praises as this tablet really isn't powerful enough or quick enough to handle much beyond the basics. I'd say it's entry-level with a slight boost. No issues with WiFi, and that seem to all be working fine. For the most part everything is holding up aside from Bluetooth, just not a high-end performer. Also, the virtual RAM is an issue as it's not real RAM, so it can lead to caching, display and buffering issues if you don't shut-down and restart the tablet from time to time. Bummer, it was good until it wasn't. --- Original review at 2 months of use --- I spent several weeks researching tablets before landing on this one. Reason - The factory audio OS in my Volvo is awful and chaotic !! I have the premium Bowers and Wilkens (B&W) audio, but the stock interface software is terrible. So I wanted a better way to control it and didn't want to bog down my phone. Thought about a dedicated MP3 audio player, but for the price might as well just get a tablet because you get so much more plus the room for options and expansion. There's a handful of choices in this price bracket to pick from, most have very subtle differences, many are exactly the same with different branding and colors. I don't care about the extras, like keyboard and mouse, most are just cheap plastic disposables anyways, I just send them to donation as I have nicer ones at home anyways. These were my MUST HAVES in shopping: Metal body frame, Minimum 16 GB RAM and 128 GB ROM storage expandable to 1 TB, 2 GHz Processing Speed, Android 14 or higher, Fitted protective case. Thankfully this model checked ALL the boxes and then some. I've used iPads and Android is just as good if not better and Lenovo is over-priced and come loaded with far less capacity and power. All tablet cameras front and back aren't great, so I didn't really care, as I'll never use it, but the specs are just as good as any upper brand like Samsung or Google or Apple. Never heard of SkyEgg but came to discover they are actually more than just a printed name like many tablets sold online are. Those are the ones you have to watch out for. Also wording can be tricky, like many say they are Widevine 'CAPABLE' that does not mean they come stock loaded and operational. Regardless, I mainly just wanted this to buy and load a nice music APP onto and for occasional GPS or internet use on the go in my car. I already have a laptop and phone for home and other use. The tablet is also good for gaming versus a tiny phone screen. Been using this tablet for several weeks now. It's been excellent for its intended use. I originally planned to use the 3.5 mm analog audio output, but it's volume is actually a bit quiet, probably my only complaint about this tablet. So I connected via Bluetooth, which is fine, and has a much hotter volume output connection and better control integration. Thankfully the tablet sits nicely on my cars console where there's really nothing but a change dish and some dead space below the main console screen. The case is a rubbery material so it doesn't slide around. Perfect. Installed a pretty nice little Audio app that looks and runs way better than the Volvo Sensus audio. Bluetooth does glitch now and then, but it doesn't require a reset, it just sort of pauses for a second now and then, typical. That's why I don't like Bluetooth or digital connections, they are unreliable. PROS: - Good battery life (tested with game, internet and audio). - Expansion port via micro SD slot up to 1 TB. - Comes with screen protector installed (had two small air bubbles) + extra screen protector. - Metal frame and body, sturdy and light. (When I was shopping - Ai search often says plastic frames are lighter but it's not true as metal aluminum frames are often lighter and stronger.) - Rubber type fitted case, power plug and volume work, does not auto shut off. - Come with cheap keyboard and mouse + cables and plugs + pin to reset. - Android 15 OS fairly easy to use. Fast OS, transitions quick between apps and runs games and operations smoothly. CONS: - Screen does not go to sleep when closing case. - Not easy to divide expandable memory for everyday use. - Volume up and down does not switch when rotating tablet upside down even though screen does rotate to any direction. - 3.5 mm analog audio output is a bit quiet or about 5-10 dB too low. - Does not super charging. - Might catch fire, gets red hot when charging.

This is my second K11 Skyegg Android 15 tablet. Just as great as my first one. I gave my son my first one. The tablet is fast, well-designed, and handles all my programs. The tablet has no problems handling Microsoft Office programs, which I use for my budgets, accounts, and research. I also use an antivirus program, YouTube, Kindle, news and weather programs, and several game apps from Google. All work great! As for streaming, DirecTV and my church's on-demand web page work as smoothly as my desktop. The display is beautiful. Setting up the tablet was easy - prompts were straightforward. I was easily able to personalize it to my preferences. Other adjectives: small size, light weight, very good tablet case, great travel partner.

It comes in a very nice gift box in case you want to give it as a gift. Set up was easy and it connected to Wi-Fi right away. Colors are bright, and tablet is responsive (fast) and has good sound. Touch screen works perfectly and it is a good size. It accesses Google Play store and the huge library of apps available on it. Perfect for elementary and middle school age kids, up to adults.
