This 2025 model works flawlessly. I love the quiet mode that makes no noise and opens my blinds at 6:30am before work. You can use quiet drift mode which makes little to no noise or if you want them to open faster you may use the regular mode. Added to HomeKit and Alexa with no issue. Just buy them. This is my fourth Switchbot device that I’ve purchased as I try to make my home ‘smarter’. And for anyone looking to automate their curtains, this device is great. The SwitchBot Curtain 3 truly delivers on ease of installation, which is great for me because I’m not the most tech savvy person although I’m trying to change that. The package includes both a quick setup card for immediate use and a comprehensive user manual for those who want detailed guidance. Additionally, the SwitchBot app features both a video installation guide and a pictorial step-by-step guide, giving you multiple resources to choose from based on your learning preference. I appreciated having all these options - the quick setup card got me up and running fast, while the app's visual guides provided extra reassurance during the process. The physical installation was very straightforward with no tools required. The device clips securely onto your curtain rod very easily. Calibrating the device was also easy and fast - the app walked me through each step clearly, making the setup process completely foolproof. Connecting the Curtain 3 to the SwitchBot app was completely hassle-free. The device appeared immediately when I opened the app unlike a lot of other devices I’ve connected in the past (no connection issues or lengthy pairing process). The app recognized the device quickly and walked me through the simple calibration steps without any technical problems. One of the standout features of the Curtain 3 is its quiet operation. The motor runs smoothly without the loud grinding or clicking sounds you might expect from an automated curtain system. It’s not completely silent because there is still a motor, but the noise level is minimal For anyone looking to automate their curtains without dealing with complex setup procedures or disruptive noise, this device delivers exactly what it promises and reinforces why SwitchBot has earned my loyalty as a customer.

The media could not be loaded. Wow these are amazing! Our curtains now open when the sun comes out to allow heat to come into the house, and they close when the sun goes down for winter. And in summer curtains close when sun shines through the Window keeping house clooer. Which saves us money in heating and air conditioning the house. These smart electric curtain openers can open the curtains fast or you can have them open the curtains slowly and it's so quiet we can't hear the curtain open or close. Highly recommend!!

Bought this automatic curtain opener for my sliding door curtains. It is very sturdy and easy to set up. My new curtains haven’t arrived yet but I tried them on the curtain rod and they are moving smoothly with the remote. The curtain opener is heavy duty so kind of heavy but a strong curtain rod will ensure the performance. My toddler daughter now can open the curtains by herself!

Version 3 of the curtain switchbot is a definite improvement over the originals. The biggest change for me is the fact that this one can be used on thinner rods which means I can use it for curtains that were previously not workable. As usual, the installation process was painless. Physical installation was pretty easy, adding to the app was simple, and calibrating was mostly painless. I had to calibrate a couple of times because my rod is cheap and moved a bit when I had the end point set up wrong. But once I got that taken care of, it's been great. In fact, the switchbot has really made me want to replace my old and cheap rods with newer better ones - simply because I open and close my curtains so much more now than before and now notice how janky my rods actually are. The switchbot is not quiet when operating, but my low quality rods are squeaky a ton and I'd love to eliminate that. But I love that I now have an automation that opens the curtains in the morning and one that closes them at night (along with turning off my lights and double checking that my door is locked.) All courtesy of Switchbot! One thing to note - this double pack is paired out of the box. So if you're thinking you can split them up and use them separately on different curtains, I don't think that you can. Last word: this is a great upgrade for me. Happy I got it.

The media could not be loaded. I am cool with this product. I have been wanting smart curtains for a while but didn't want to deal with replacing my rods. This was the perfect solution. The curtain bots just clip right on, and I was able to get this set of my bedroom curtains working in under couple minutes. The remote is great for me and my wife to use, once I have linked it to my phone and my Alexa, so now I can just say Alexa, open my curtains in the morning. it's really cool tho. It's been a while, batteries are still going strong. I love the little hum the motor makes, it is waking up with me lol.
