This product is a must have for any electrical testing! I am very impressed, it’s lightweight and simple enough for anyone to use. It comes with two different options for connecting power, using a 12V outlet (cigarette outlet) or using the alligator clips provided for positions and negative battery terminal. The positive and negative connectors are shaped, so it can only go in one way. This tool can measure voltage, resistance, current, as well as check continuity and polarity! The hard case is sturdy and provides sufficient protection and there is a built-in breaker for overload protection to the tool (side button in photo). The cables attached are very long and this also comes with an extension cable that provides an additional 20ft, if needed! You can easily work from front to back on your car/truck/trailer. This tool certainly compliments anyone’s toolbox!

Let me start by saying, I have both this tool and a power probe. I'm master certified and carry advanced level certs in gas and diesel, as well as alt fuels, hybrids, etc. I wish this tool was available 15 years ago when I got my power probe. The entire time I've owner's the power probe Ive wishes it did more. This new tool does everything my expensive tool does and more! Feels good in the hand, easy to use, longer cable, measures resistance!!! It doesn't even make sense to consider the competition, power probe better watch out!

Really nice tool, feels really well built and has some nice safety features for testing electrical circuits, extra long cable, I can give like 2 full circles around the car, really good to test circuits before installing them for good. The resistance feature is nice to test fuses, and its really easy to use, just one button to switch functions. Overall really good value for the money.

Found this power probe to work well and is very handy for locating the source of your electrical fault. It’s nice that this power probe has such a long cord and an extension cable included so you can reach any location on a car as needed. Also handy that it comes with a hard case to keep all the pieces together and ready to grab when needed.
