So the gold standard in TV antennas is to spend $100-$200 or so on a roof antenna and mount the thing up there. If you're not willing to to commit the time and money to a project like that and you're just looking for something to get you going this unit is perfect. I still might get all fancy one day, but this item was great for seeing if over the air television is right for my family. Before this we were rocking an "rabbit ears" style of antenna. It got less channels than this one and had to be precariously placed. All in all, this antenna was the perfect combination of price and quality. It also fits nicely behind the television set and can't be seen. Oh, and I was never in danger of falling off the roof when setting it up.

I bought this antenna for my grandmother as a gift, she isn't super tech savvy and a firestick is not something she can use easily. She enjoys watching local news and shows and this product really helped with that. The setup and installation of the antenna was actually super easy. I was happily surprised. The quality on most of these local channels that are available are not too bad! They're good for what we've paid for it. The sleek black design is subtle and does not impede on its surroundings. I was nervous it was going to be this thing just in the way but actually, it blends in. For the price and primary usage, this product works very well!

Installation is super easy. Didn’t even need instructions but. You plug the coaxial cable and usb into the tv. Then you use the channel finder/scanner on your TV. 5-10 minutes later and you’re ready to go. I didn’t even put the antenna by the window. It’s hidden behind TV and it still picks up what I need. I bought this so I could watch 3 channels: CBS, FOX, and NBC when football is on. The HD quality is great. The antenna picked up 54 other channels that I’ll never watch. It could probably pick up more if I positioned it higher or by a window but I’d rather it stay hidden.

Works great!! I bought this antenna because I was hoping that I could get OTA tv on my basement TV at home. I was worried it might be a long shot. We do live in an urban area where from my 2nd story I have line-of-sight to some of the towers but, a basement is still a basement and the TV on the main floor which has an in-amplified antenna sometimes loses signal when a car drives past. So I knew that if this was going to work at all, I’d need an amplified one. I selected this one based on the number of good reviews. I can’t say they weren’t lying. Install was stupid easy, it came with command strips to stick the antenna to the wall, it’s easily to hide behind a tv and most of all - I get more channels on the basement TV than I do on my upstairs. Crazy. And it’s the channels I want too (you know the ones with live sports!).

I live in a high rise in downtown Miami and wanted to cut the cord and get rid of cable monthly fees. Connecting and setting up this antenna was a breeze, just spent a few minutes testing out different positions and it would impact the image quality. The image quality is excellent for all main channels - ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX and PBS is excellent. The antenna was able to fund a few local channels that I don't care about. I paid $30 for this antenna and think it is totally worth the price if you, like me, wants to cut the cord.
