  • What's Not To Like?
First of all, this is the best antenna I have used. The one thing I DON'T like? In the ad it shows 4K. NO antenna can give you 4K. NONE!! Why not?? Because no channel is broadcasting in 4K. You can't receive what isn't broadcast. Period!!! That's a selling gimmick they all use. So, never base your antenna purchase based on that. As soon as broadcasters start doing that, ANY antenna will pick them up, just like the regular broadcasts. Another thing. No antenna will pick up over about 40 or so miles. Outdoor antennas will pick up a little more. Do not believe these claims about 150 miles and 250 mile antennas. Can't do it. That's not how it works. All that said, never pay over $30 for an indoor antenna. You can find good antennas well within that price range. Just read the honest reviews. I purchased TWO of these antennas, with the intent of returning them, if they were junk. They've turned out to be the best antennas I've ever purchased, bar none. I was getting about 27 or so channels with my old antenna, but the ,main problem I was having, is that one of my neighbors is running an illegal or unregistered ham set & when he uses it, it destroyed most of my antenna stations. It was almost like clockwork, at certain times of day. Yes, I know. You can make a complaint to the FCC and I don't want to get involved with that. So, I purchased these 2 antennas, after reading through a bunch of antenna reviews on Amazon. I don't just go by review percentages, because I know a lot aren't real. I like to read the BAD, as well as the Good. I can honestly tell you, I am now getting 57 channels and my sister 56. Placement does matter. It's best to either be higher up or closer to the window. I found out that I didn't do too well close to the TV and that was probably being too much electronics hooked up with the TV and NVidia Shield system. Same way with my sister's room. What I found pulled in the very most stations, was to first look online and figure out what direction the broadcast towers were. Then, both antennas did their best if our METAL Blinds were pulled up and the antennas were placed right next to the windows. Then I ran the Channel Scan. After running the scan, I was able to lower the blinds and move the antenna to another location, without having to re-scan. But, my antenna is still located 3 feet off the floor and my sisters is on top of her dresser, so they are elevated. If I try to move my antenna close to my TV, there goes my signal. As long as I keep it at least 3 feet off the floor and at least 2 feet from my TV, I'm doing GREAT. That's not hard to do, because this comes with long cables. Also, I do keep our amplifiers plugged into the USB inputs on our TVs. That may not work best for you, but it does for us. Right now I'm looking at it and the little green light is on. You switch it one way if your towers are within 30 miles or so and the other way if they're a little over. But, it's best to just try it both ways & then try it without the amplifier & see what works best for you. I'm in a rural setting and the amplifier makes a difference. They have a clear instructional booklet, but it's so simple, you really don't need it. I don't know what else to say about them, other than they're very well made and the most attractive antennas I've owned & I've paid 4 times the price in the past. As far as the neighbors interference? Only twice have I had a problem and it was a couple of quick flickers. Nothing that would interfere with watching. I'm ecstatic about these and if I need any more, this is the brand I'm going with. Nothing to assemble, except the bottom stand that just pops on. It comes with a great warranty, too. Needless to say, I DO RECOMMEND this. ... show more

  • Pretty good
Good product, easy to hook up, only thing is we’ve had to put it in some pretty high places just to get CBS for football. I like that it has a stand but it doesn’t really sit on a table, right now it’s balancing on top of our tv so minus one star

  • Much better than flat pad unit I also have.
This product works seamlessly with my air TV using a splitter to my primary television as a back-up . Reception is good and the amount of channels found was fantastic.

  • It Works Great!
I am trying to slash costs by "cutting the cord," and did not want to lose local channels. So I initially signed up for a streaming service with live local channels, but it was still super expensive - and I wasn't watching most of the 80+ non-local live channels offered. After researching, I decided to buy an interior antenna, and this one did the trick! It's free after the initial outlay, and I can use the cost savings to purchase inexpensive streaming apps on my fire stick to get movies & other channels that I like to watch - and still save a ton of money! (My cable service was running over $120 a month for TV, not including internet!) I placed this on a TV and had to face it toward a north-facing window (where most of my TV stations are located) before I was able to get it to work well. So there was a lot of trial and error to start with, but in the end, it worked - with even fewer image glitches than streaming. I haven't tried it yet in a room with walls blocking northern exposure and am unsure if it will work there. But that is my next step. If it works, I will purchase another one. UPDATE: Yes! The antenna worked in the room that only has a west-facing window (where there are no TV stations)! So I've ordered a 2nd one. Now I will have 2 TVs that pick up local channels without paying big bucks for Xfinity, Direct TV Stream or HULU Live+. And then I can get higher level channels with something like Philo TV ($25 mo) or Xfiniti Now+Peacock ($20 mo) on my 2 fire sticks. So other than the initial cash outlay for the 2 antennas, my TV bill is reduced from $120/mo to $20 or $25. Plus, there is room in the budget to tack on an inexpensive HULU or Netflix plan if I want it. Oh Yay! But fair warning... it requires both your original TV remote and your Fire Stick remote to navigate between over-the-air services and streaming. So if you've misplaced your TV remote along the way, you might be out of luck. ... show more

  • Way Better than the more expensive DTV Ant
It gets way more channels and less of a hassle for less than most. A few months back I purchased another more expensive DTV ANT. It's horribly slow. This product works great. Cable length is good, but could be a bit longer. The picture quality is great as well.

  • Easy set up
Replaced an older digital antenna that had suddenly lost several channels. So far so good getting more channels and better reception. Also very simple to set up.

  • Location, Location, Location
Needed a way to get some local channels without a cable package, as the built in FAST channels on my LG set can only take me so far. Antenna was easy to setup (aside from the coaxial fastener being finicky), but the end result was mostly meh. I can only get three channels just by setting it on my TV stand. Four if I hold it up high. I do not wish to mount it on my wall however, so it looks like I'll only get these three channels. This isn't the fault of the product, but rather the unfortunate placement of my home relative to the broadcast towers. Though one thing that is silly is that this thing is marketed as a 4K device. To my knowledge no stations broadcast to antennas in 4K, so it's either one blatant lie or a dumb marketing gimmick. Ultimately it does work like it should, just hope that your home is within better range. ... show more
