It's a great alternative to mice traps and sticky pads. I find that it works best if it's plugged into outlets near the floor. The higher up the outlets are, the less effective it will be. So make sure you have outlets near the floor or if you don't, then run an extension cord with a power extension sockets on the floor and plug it in that way. I used this product for a couple weeks and have decided to return it because it has not been working. I don't have a huge peat problem and I get routine pest treatments, but I noticed they started being around the plugs. I just went to unplug the first one and a bug literally came out of it. Love that these came as a multiple pack I have them by all my doors and a couple upstairs as well. I was skeptical at first but I certainly have noticed that I haven’t seen ants or spiders since. I also have 2 dogs and 2 cats and it doesn’t seem to bother them at all so bonus there cause I won’t use sprays because of them. ... show more

I went ahead and bought this 8 pack to rid myself of mosquitos in my house. I have had them plugged in for 4 days, one in each room of my house. I am so very disappointed. You all must have gotten good product, because I am not seeing results in my house. I am being eaten alive in my own house by mosquitos daily.
