    • Keyboard DOA out of box
I spent considerable amount of time to find. ONLY a HP laptop that had at least 16 GB of memory and a terabyte of storage space and a fast enough video card or drive. Upon opening the box and trying to type in my Wi-Fi security code nothing would happen. The keyboard wouldn't respond. The touch screen keyboard never displayed. I utilize the protection insurance plan for Tech support, they referred me to the manufacturer for tech support, the manufacturer deemed that the keyboard was DOA out of the box and instructed me to go back to Amazon and have them replace it. After investing over 7 hours of troubleshooting back and forth between the manufacturer and Amazon customer support and the seller to no avail. ( Mind you the initial tech support call Dean that it was DOA out of the box. Yet when I called to the manufactured tech support team to have them indicate the resolution and that it was DOA out of the box on the trouble ticket so I can pass that on to Amazon and the seller. They required me to do further and more troubleshooting which results in no different results or improvements) I feel it's really a shame after I spent a great deal of time researching and finally found the laptop that met my needs and got it at the Cyber discount rate, that's the best thing that can be offered to me is to return the laptop and get my money back. Which is that is the minimum thing that could do because I got a great deal I felt for the features at the rate of $688 before taxes fees etc The average going rate for the size of memory and 1 TB storage was going around $1,000 so now I'm stuck without a laptop. I got stuck not being able to do the projects that I purchased the laptops for And now I get to look again for another laptop. Doesn't leave me with a lot of confidence with this process that Amazon has because the customer gets stuck in the middle of vendor protocol/policies. They send you through a lot of changes when the laptop was already deemed DOA out of the box instead of just up front allowing me to return it. I had to go through MORE hours of troubleshooting so they could put a stamp that it was DOA on the box on the product and they didn't fix the problem. So it's really a waste of my time and a loss of money cuz who knows how much it's going to cost me now to get another laptop WITH THOSE FEATURES. Needless to say my faith in the manufacturer has been lost. Cuz in the past I had great laptops but this is a shame. It's A low down dirty shame And I felt I was sent through a lot of unnecessary changes. Even though the laptop was d o a out of the box they don't make it easy for you to return it. They don't make the process easy. So on top of the upset of the laptop not working out of the box. They exasperate the problem by sending you through having to go email back and forth with the seller which was a waste of time. The seller didn't want to take the manufacturer's word that it was already DOA and wanted me to send them more pictures and videos which was again a waste of time. The seller never acknowledge whether or not they would replace the laptop after they finish doing their own level of tech support. Which again is another waste of time if the manufacturer already deemed that it was DOA to have to send me through those changes. So beware of this particular laptop, I think there were other reviews similar to mine where people went through changes when the laptop didn't work out of the box as well. I certainly prayed and hope that that wouldn't have been my situation but here I am leaving this review unfortunately this was my experience and I'm sticking to it ... show more

    • Decent Performance but Falls Short in Key Areas
The HP Envy x360 has a lot going for it, like the 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD, which make multitasking and storage a breeze. The AMD Ryzen 5 processor handles everyday tasks well, and the touchscreen functionality is a nice feature for a 2-in-1 laptop. However, there are a few drawbacks that make it just an average experience. The build quality feels a bit flimsy for the price, and the battery life isn’t as impressive as I expected, it drains quicker than I’d like during extended use. The display is decent but not as sharp or vibrant as other laptops in this range. Somehow I felt the memory speed is very low. It hangs at certain places even though I have 32GB RAM It’s a good laptop for casual users, but for this price, I was hoping for a more premium feel and performance. If you’re looking for a solid mid-range 2-in-1, it’s worth considering, but don’t expect perfection. ... show more

    • 2022 Newest HP Envy x360 2-in-1 15.6" Touch-Screen Laptop
It's been a year of use and it starts to get buggy. It will not hookup to another monitor with the HDMI connection. 2 X the sound went out had to go through a lot of step to get it to work again. Lost the bluetooth switch so I couldn't connect my ear buds. Had to uninstall the bluetooth componet and turn off the computer for couple minutes then start it up so it'll reinstall the bluetooth. That did the trick it's working now but still cannot connect to another monitor. Don't know if it's a hardware problem or program problem still trying to figure it out.
