  • Easy to use and works great
Style: 212 Spectrum V3
This product looks and works great, it’s been in my PC for about 6 months now and still works as well as it did when I first added it. The size wasn’t an issue for my case, but your mileage may vary. As for cooling, keeping my Ryzen 7 5700g at around 35-45 degrees idle. Not bad IMO. Great cooler, would definitely get it again in the future. ... show more

  • Great for the price
Style: 212 Spectrum V3
Used this and a few other parts to update my PC that was built in 2016. It looks great, it is a lot quieter than my old fan, good price in comparison to build quality in similarly priced fans fans. Relatively easy to install, plenty of cooling for my gaming needs.

The media could not be loaded. For a budget heat sink, I'm quite impressed with how well it's keeping my cpu cold

  • Fantastic CPU cooler for the price, and it looks amazing while it cools
Style: 212 Spectrum V3
The media could not be loaded. I purchased the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Spectrum V3 to cool a Ryzen 2700x in a pc I was building as a surprise gift for a friend. Since he had pretty specific needs, I chose this CPU cooler to go inside of this Zalman Z1 Plus ATX case so the tinted tempered glass would really show off that ARGB cpu fan. The Hyper 212 cools fantastically and near silently even under full load. And it was definitely an upgrade from the stock AMD cpu wraith cooler that tended to 'whine' a lot. That is the 2nd Hyper 212 I have owned, and I have loved both of them. ... show more

  • Very Quiet
Style: 212 Spectrum V3
I didn't spend enough time checking this out and didnt realize that there were no copper coils. It is all aluminum. That said, it works better than the stock cooler that came with my CPU and it is much quieter. I have an open air case, and I sit 2 feet away and can not hear the fan on this thing at all. The lighting (unchanged) looks exactly like the picture. Bright and pure color if that matters to you. It was easy to install on AM4 motherboard. Less than 5 minutes. All parts necessary for multiple mountings are included. The fan bracket wires are flimsy, but that is standard for the way this works. It's just to hold the fan in place. There is only one fan on one side. I am quite pleased with it. For the price, I'm not sure why I was expecting copper. =) ... show more

  • Asrock B560M-C motherboards need to know...
Style: 212 Spectrum V3
If you have the RAM slot closest to the CPU with a stick in it...this fan is a tight fit. I actually had to slide the fan over a little to keep it from 'ticking' on the RAM stick...if you have a large stick of RAM like an RGB...this may not work at all unless you put the fan on the other side and reverse it to exhaust towards the rear fan on your case. Other than that...this is a VERY good fan for the price. I needed new paste as it was...and with the new paste and upgrading from a low end Deepcool fan that came with my pre-built, it lowered my CPU temp 20+c. I am sure the paste had some to do with that but the fan I am sure helped at least 10c of that. ... show more

  • Solid and easy to install!
Style: 212 Spectrum V3
I've got this cooling a mildly overclocked Ryzen 5 2600 and it is the most straightforward, easy to install aftermarket air cooler on the market hands down. Once you have the appropriate brackets installed, it screws right into the stock backplate with ease. The RGB is nice even if you don't have it connected to a header, definitely a great looking upgrade to running a stock cooler! Cooler Master just knocks it out of the park with their great product quality and value for the money! ... show more

  • Incredible value to performance ratio
Style: 212 Spectrum V3
I was running a Ryzen 5600x on B550 motherboard and the stock wraith stealth prism for cooling. My computer case has excellent airflow and was still pulling mid 70c under gaming loads of 30-60% sustained. If you’re like me and upgrading to anything else from the wraith stealth prism you will immediately notice just how much bigger it is. The cooler master 212 is no exception it is monstrous compared to the wraith cooler. The copper heat pipes have been exposed on the cold plate and directly touches the cpu when mounted making it very efficient at rerouting the heat. The fan works as intended and mounting it was very easy. Granted I used Arctic Mx 4 for thermal paste instead of the one provided, but I am now barely reaching 45-55 C under gaming loads and I haven’t even overclocked and enabled PBO yet. My results are very very satisfactory and I recommend anyone with a wraith stealth cooler to switch ASAP ... show more
