My first laptop computer purchase ever. Needed one to do work while traveling. The ASUS VivoBook performed great during two recent international vacations. Super-fast start-up and super-fast shut-down (perfect when you're on the go). Great color/picture. I made sure it had Windows 10 Pro (not 10 S); was easy to transfer my home computer's files to/from the ASUS laptop. Battery power ranges from 4-7 hours, which is plenty for me. No problems with the hinges (from other reviews, I open it from the middle). No problem with heat if placed on hard surface (not fabric). ... show more

So I order this Laptop back in January 7 2021. By the Gods such a amazing investment. If it wasn't because scalpers stealing the PS5 and selling it for hire I would have skip the this amazing pc here. I been using this pc day and night, playing video games like Final Fantasy 14, Genshin Impact, Apex Legends(all these games running on max settings) and stream on twitch. I love this laptop the best investment you will have if you are looking for a really good gaming laptop for the price it is at now worth it IMO. I do have some small issues I have with this laptop and that the base hard drive is WAY to small 256GB is not big enough and you would have to ether invest in getting a external SSD or replace it...(but as a tech that is already a pain in the behind to do) and this laptop doesn't run 4k which sad for those who in to 4k videos, stream, gaming(I am not tho so i dont see this a nay). These are the only nays I say is bad about this laptop...small SSD and not being able to have 4k(which isnt a bad for me). About the cooling its pretty good, the placement of the fan is in the back is such a great spot, it help with the air flow to get into the laptop to cool it, and while gaming the fans can get loud but not as loud as the jet engine fan of the PS4. In short while this laptop have a low amount of storage(256 GB like really could go for 300GB atleast), this gaming laptop is really really good and worth the investment. I just wanna update this review is for Asus TUF 15.6-inch FHD Gaming Laptop, AMD Quad Core Ryzen 5 3550H Processor, Nvidia Geforce GTX 1650 4GB Graphics, 8GB DDR4 RAM, 256GB Solid State Drive, RGB Backlit Keyboard, Windows 10 Home, Black...but for some reason I its show up here and even though I bought the TUF, the link relocate me here so this review is not about the Vivobook but about the Asus TUF ... For the price, you get a lot of machine. It’s lightweight and seems sturdy. It has a sleek feel to it. I’m very happy overall. My complaints are that the screen isn’t very bright which is disappointing, and the speakers are just ok. Overall I’d purchase it again

The display is beautiful, it looks sleek. But for me, that doesn't matter. The camera is horrible (I don't really care about that), the fan is extremely loud (although I don't really care). It is very light but has a very large display (I like smaller displays). Extremely fast, the price is very good for what you get. I returned it because I couldn't find a hard case to protect it. But it still is an awesome laptop!! ... show more

Love this computer! I orginally bought an omen 15 to play wow on. It was literally the worst computer iv ever used.... I returned it and got this one. Im in love! The keys feel nice and glow. No lag. I can play on graphics quality 6 instead of 1! Battery cable has an extremely secure plug in connection compared to other computers. No issues except the regular blot wear that comes with new computers now adays ... show more
