I was really excited today to receive my boat tow harness for tubing. We have a pontoon boat on a lake. The kids absolutely love to go tubing. The rope that we had was not a good quality. So when I found this I was pleasantly pleased. As I have not been able to use it yet, I at least wanted to tell you of the quality. The rope is a very heavy duty polyethylene. It weighs .8 pounds. The color is blue and black. I’ve had rope this heavy duty before and it works very well with towing tubes, water skiers, or towing other boats when they break down. I like the way this is already set up with your two hooks to attach to the boat and the self centering stainless steel pulley to maintain the balance of the rope. The stainless steel pulley rotates 360°. This would definitely pull 1 to 4 riders on a tube or two wakeboard riders or two water skiers. Each side of the rope is 8 foot with a hook on each of the ends to hook to each side of the boat. From the pulley to the connector is only 1 foot with a yellow buoy in between. This way from the hook at the buoy to the tube or water skier, you can add as long of a length as you need to be under regulations. This is going to make our summer fun so much better since we’re not going to have to worry about ropes tearing and being unsafe. I’m really looking forward to our first trip out.     • Makes towing so much smoother
I picked up this heavy duty tow harness for our family trips to the lake and it has been a total game changer for pulling the kids on the big 4 rider tube. The self centering pulley is the best part because it keeps the rope right in the middle even when the boat is making wide turns, so I don't have to constantly fight the steering wheel. The hooks are large and feel very secure when I clip them onto the transom eyes, which gives me peace of mind when we have a full load of people back there. It’s also nice that the harness floats on its own so I don't have to worry about the rope getting tangled in the prop when we are idling or picking up a rider. The 360 degree rotating pulley moves freely and hasn't shown any signs of rusting after a few weekends in the water. If you do a lot of tubing and want to save some wear and tear on your boat while making the ride better for the passengers, this is definitely the way to go. ... show more

This is a seriously heavy-duty tow harnesses for my boat. I have a big 24-foot Hurricane deck boat that I've used to tow teenagers via the built in ski tow pole. I knew I needed to change to this pole so I can not hold back on the towing capabilities of this boat. I can confidently say that this product is a game changer. The hooks, allow me to tow the kids without worrying about the structural integrity of the ski tower and utilize the transom to get them whipping around the back of the boat. I would strongly recommend this to anyone looking to tow multiple tubes (heavily weighed down) simultaneously with a powerful engine. The build quality is impressive and clearly intentional. Considering the size of the rope, the flotation device at the tube quick connect point, and the carrying bag that comes with it, I believe this is a great option for anyone looking to tow behind their boat. My lake is still frozen over right now, so I haven’t been able to actually put this tow harness to the test on the water yet. That said, just looking it over and setting it up, it seems like it’s going to be perfect for tubing season once summer rolls around. The rope itself feels very well made—lightweight but still strong and durable. The stainless steel hooks are large and easy to clip onto the boat, and the pulley in the middle spins freely so the rope can self-center without binding. It also has a float built into the line, which is nice because it keeps the rope up on the surface instead of sinking under the water and getting tangled. Another small bonus is the included carry bag. It makes it easy to keep everything together and toss it in the back of the boat so it’s ready whenever it’s time to pull out the tube. Overall, it looks like a well-designed and sturdy tow harness that should make tubing easy and fun once the lake finally thaws out. ... show more

This is a well designed tow harness for skiing and wake boarding. We have a pontoon and tube a lot, but we have used a much longer tow line with a single contact carabiner. This tow line has a dual connect which puts the tube much closer to the motor of the boat. The rope is great quality nylon rope that has a natural buoyancy. The carabiners are heavy duty and can support the weight and movement of water activities. This tow line comes with a nice storage bag to keep it organized and easy to store on the boat. I would recommend this tow line based on quality, value for the money, and the included storage bag. I personally would like a longer rope for tubing. ... show more
