Apple was able to inform me that it was a fault that had been reported to them three months before I purchased the item. The laptop itself is really nice. Looks like perfect condition. However, the charger doesn’t work. At all. Cube looks like it has been destroyed but isn’t even big enough voltage to charge a laptop! When I changed cubes, the charger still didn’t work. Fortunately my husband had an extra Pro charger, but I should get a replacement for free! Not paying this much to get the wrong/not working charger. And then have to buy one separately? Lame. If you’re paying this much, refurbished or not, they better give you working/correct chargers! ... show more

For a reconditioned product, the aluminum shell is in good condition. Once minor scratch across the Apple logo, which is acceptable since the product is not new. You can tell that the keyboard has been used. The biggest problem is at least one of the onboard speakers is blown.
