This is my first Mac mini of any type. Really like this computer. Little to no blemishes. I purchased a 31.5 curved monitor from Sam’s Club. It goes nicely with it. With Apple, can always count on reliability! I’ve had Windows computers in the past and I’ve had Apple computers in the past And how there is not or has not been that I’m aware of class action lawsuit against windows because of how long it takes a person to update and the time consumption ( wasted time and frustration) Their computer is absolutely insane to work with. I had an all-in-one Windows computer last year. I spent three hours just on updates starting, restarting The computer trying to get it to update. For simplicity, I highly recommend Apple computers. I’ve been an Apple product person since iPhone 5! I have tried to go back to android and use that with the Windows computer. I do not recommend it. Stay with what you know! Because when one update happens more than likely, everything else is updated the same day! With windows you never know with android you never know! With Apple, you pretty much know! 🤣🤣 I highly recommend this computer. I usually don’t buy new electronics unless it’s a phone. But for the price that I paid for an M1 Mac studio. I have absolute zero complaints and highly recommend. In fact, I received this product more quickly than the delivery date had stated, and I was delighted!

I received the Mac Studio and it’s been over 1-2 weeks now. Works perfectly, and the specs are exactly like it was described! Now, I do have a 90-day period for returns / extended warranty if anything goes wrong or it breaks. Would recommend getting a Samsung T7 SSD for external storage (I got the 512GB SSD built in). The M1 Max works like a beast after 4 years!! Speed is something you won’t have to worry about. I plan on streaming/recording videos and editing soon — but designing with multiple applications with the 32GB RAM is honestly the best decision i’ve made! Now the box itself comes in the original package, with the original cable (or apple certified cable from Apple). It may be tapped with packing tape, but there isn’t a scratch or dent on it. It was clean with ZERO dirt marks or buffs on it. Looks visually brand new and most definitely getting a bang for your buck. Normally priced at $1k+ on the apple refurbished store — now you can get it for $700-$800 ($300 cheaper)!!!

I am so very pleased with this! I’d buy another if I needed it. It is fast, dependable, and looks good on a desk. It runs the latest Mac OS. It can run windows in a virtualization or it can run Codeweaver’s CrossOver if you need to run Windows applications, Linux applications, or other OS environments. The drive is a bit smaller than I would like, but I bought a couple USB-C external drives, used the Mac’s Apple Disk Utility and set them as a RAID to merge them as a single partition. Now I’ve got one big logical drive that is using the throughput of TWO USB-C connections. It runs that external drive very very fast! The bottleneck then becomes the USB-C drives bandwidth. Video: 32 core GPU. Need I say more? It renders smooth, clean graphics. I’ve never seen the animated dust clouds of my favorite video game before this GPU! I didn’t even know there was that level of animation! And this is running a Windows application running through CrossOver. The game uses NVIDIA drivers, the Mac doesn’t, but the CrossOver works with the 32 cores and the hardware is so smooth! Price? I think the value of this was worth the price. I wish I could have bought a few more for work. I’m a database coder and data analyst. This thing devours data and spits it out so well. Thank you Apple for making this beast.

In pure performance, this thing is a beast. The M1 Max is ridiculously powerful especially for an 800 dollar machine with 32 gb of ram. When it comes to a pure workstation rig, this thing is a dream. The only issues that I have with this, lies in the apple infrastructure. All of this power gets frustrating because I feel like I have nowhere to use it UNLESS editing because Mac refuses to support video games, and I swear it feels like Mac doesn't trust me to know how to use a computer with how often I have to tell the OS to allow me to run an application then put in my password because it doesn't trust me. Combined with the fact theres no volume mixer in Mac OS unless you pay for 3rd party software (really Apple?) It often times makes me wish I had this level of power in a windows machine for the same price because I truly can't understate how insanely fast the M1 Max Processor is! And also how blindly fast the actual operating system is. Again if you're buying this exclusively for a workstation machine, this is insane value for 800 dollars or even 1000 dollars. This thing will run circles around any editing software, music production software, anything you throw at it that's not video game related will run FLAWLESSLY at BLINDING speeds. Again if Apple actually put in effort to allow 32 bit application compatibility and had more compatibility with more video games, I genuinely believe they would dominate the market. Condition exceeded my expectations--came in original box with a never-used factory-spun chord. A few forgettable scuffs but zero scratches or dents. First time buying renewed and was nervous about condition, but everything checked out perfectly and the system is up-and-running with no issues.
