The laptop advertised has the backlit icon on the space bar. The laptop I received does not. This is disappointing because I paid alot of money for it and I live outside the USA. A return is too costly and impossible for me to do. I'm hoping for a refund. The laptop is really good tho.

I’m really enjoying this laptop, though the display is really not my favorite. Also know that the built in AV stuff (speakers, camera..I haven’t tried the mic) are bad. Hearing my favorite songs through these speakers makes me cringe. BUT so far it’s fast enough for my needs, pleasant UI, setup was easy, aesthetically pleasing brushed metal finish; it’s super light, but is apparently sturdy enough, as I have already knocked it over at least twice and no damage to performance or appearance. Doesn't say this, no keyboard backlight. Now that I spent hours setting it up, I'm unwilling to go through returning and waiting. Also, the battery life, with no media playing, just MS Word open and screen on full brightness, is abysmal. Very unhappy. Definitely will not buy a laptop through amazon again. Too risky. I would NOT have purchased if it'd known. The fingerprint reader is hopelessly unreliable (all software/firmware updated). The brightness is sufficient, I would not say the display quality is thrilling, but passible for writing. Overall, definitely a lesson about buying online. ... show more
