I really love this laptop so much. I did a lot of research and debated for a month before purchasing specifically the HP 16 gb ram 128gb model [up to 2.8h]. It works fast, is sooooo light weight [I work remotely], and serves all my business needs as a consultant / freelancer. I wanted a sturdy business laptop with a good battery life and potential for good memory load. I got that for sure. I used a usb to transfer some things from my desktop to the laptop and had everything set up for myself within 15 mins. The Cortana voice guide for set up was great and I also bought a cheap usb wired mouse that works well. The camera quality is great and everything is working smoothly. For $399 it was an amazing buy. So honestly this is my first laptop purchase and I don’t know anything about computers. That being said the setup was made for dummies (me) and was simple. No touchscreen, speakers seem fine also. What I do like is the keyboard has big buttons and the screen is large. It’s also very lightweight. The battery does last a long time. I haven’t charged it the last 7 days with moderate use. Any technical stuff ask someone else but for a first computer for home or for a college kid I think it’d be great. ... show more

    • Beautiful computer, but not for me.
Got this computer and LOVED it, until I had to try to record a video while doing a presentation on it. Then, it all went downhill. This computer is great for someone who does one thing at a time and doesn't care much for fast speed. It is extremely lightweight and SO pretty. But if you need multi-tasking capabilities, this computer is not where it's at. Overall, it is a great computer which is why I rated it 5 stars. But it's not what I needed. The media could not be loaded. I wanted to love this computer. It’s beautiful, light weight, with great battery life but there are way more times than not that the screen just blinks when i try to turn it on. Sometimes it won’t turn on for days. It’s not reliable at all. Luckily i still have my old but good laptop. I gave it time thinking that it would resolve with updates but it hasn’t and it’s way too late to return it. So I did a lot of research on this computer before I decided to purchase it. When I got it out and started it up I right off the bat didn't like the S mode, but that's okay because I figured out how to switch it off and ever since then I have loved it. All and all though it runs very fast and efficiently and it came in perfect condition. It is also small and lightweight. I think this laptop is well worth the money I spent on it. ... show more

I like it. Its okay.. very light weight, pretty fast loading. But there is one thing I can't stand and kills it for me. This laptop cannot "wake up" if it goes into sleep mode. If it falls asleep, instead of tapping the TouchPad or the power button for it to wake, you have to hold in the power button and manually restart. For the price, I'd almost say just that alone might not be worth it. ... show more
