Since I’m an editor, I’ve used after effects, premiere pro, and media encoder on this baby and it never so much as crashed while rendering in the months I’ve had it! It renders smoothly, playback has hardly been an issue. The only minor downside was the dupe charger it came with. I didn’t put my faith in it, but it certainly lasted a good while—roughly 7 months—and one day it just gave out. There wasn’t any external damage, but when I tried to charge the Mac, it simply did not. I had to buy the legit Apple charger (the brick and cord came out to be $79.11). Overall AMAZING! The MacBook Pro that I received was in great condition considering the age of the laptop. Does it have a few scratches and bumps, almost invisible screen marks, and a few keys on the keyboard a bit shiny? Yes, but this is expected and was a well taken care of laptop by the previous owner. All the ports works as they should, the battery only had 243 cycles on it with a 91% health, which is below the average for this laptop. I purchased this refurbished Apple MacBook Pro 14-inch (M1 Pro, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD), and unfortunately, it arrived with a major problem. The MacBook had a charging issue where it could not properly detect the power adapter while running macOS. Because of this, the device could not be used reliably. This is a significant hardware issue that should have been identified during basic testing before being resold as refurbished. While the condition of the device may vary, buyers should be aware that refurbished units may not always be thoroughly tested and could arrive with functional problems. Where the seller rarely responds, which makes it hard to return. As the return label the SELLER gave me was not paid for, the item got stuck with FedEx, the seller stated he would fix it, as it's still stuck with FedEx to this DAY. ... show more

This is my first time buying a refurbished Apple product and I can say I’m happy with the decision overall. At first glance, the MacBook looks to be in excellent condition. If you look very closely, you can see some light scratches and minor wear on the body, especially on the right side below the ports, as well as a few tiny marks that show normal use. What concerned me a bit more was the screen: it’s not damaged or worn out, but under certain lighting I can notice a couple of small hairline scratches. That said, this is exactly what you should expect from a refurbished product — it’s not 100% perfect cosmetically, but it’s fully functional and works great. I received the model I ordered: a 14" MacBook Pro with 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD. It arrived completely drained of battery and came with a non-original charger and cable, which is something to keep in mind if that detail is important to you. One personal tip: take the time to read the seller reviews carefully — that’s something I skipped and I realized it can really influence your overall experience. Despite the small cosmetic details, I totally recommend buying refurbished products, especially from Apple. So far so good!! i received my mac a day early!! i did have to sign for it so thank gos i was home. once i opened it the mac looked great! no scratches and everything worked perfectly! there was a small chip on the back bottom right corner but not a big deal! i’m very happy with my purchase. only thing i’d change is the packaging. there wasn’t much protection in the box just a bubble wrap sleeve that the computer was in and a couple pieces of paper filling but luckily everything was fine! ... show more

    • Decent value for a refurb Macbook
Ordered a 2021 Macbook Pro M1 Pro with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage in “refurbished - excellent” condition. It was shipped almost instantly after ordering (despite not being during normal business hours) and the laptop arrived several days sooner than expected. However, I wasn’t ever notified that I needed to be present to sign for the package until an attempted delivery was made and a tag was left on my door. As for condition of the laptop, the exterior is nearly flawless. There is one minor scratch and one small dent on the top of the lid and that’s it. No wear on the keys, no scratches on the screen, etc. I’m extremely pleased with the condition of the chassis itself. The laptop arrived with an aftermarket charger and 0 battery, which isn’t ideal in my opinion. Also, the battery max capacity is only 83% with 608 cycles on it. This is technically within the parameters described by the seller, but I would’ve really liked to see at least 85% capacity and a much lower cycle count on a laptop classified as “excellent”. Overall, I’m pretty happy with the purchase and would likely buy from this seller again. It would just be nice if they were slightly more transparent about what their definition of “excellent” is. ... show more
