I read other reviews about the glacially slow processor - and I have to agree. I am barely taxing this thing - and I have had to reboot it at least a couple of times a day. I keep giving up on it- and moving to my desktop. The physical machine looks brand new, and it's a great size and keyboard. But I am shocked at just how slow a machine from 2020 could be. Yes - I got it due to the low cost, but I may have to give up on it and return it. So far I've been playing around with it at home - before I take it on the road. I'm starting to fear it will be more trouble than it's worth and I'll need to pay up for a better machine. As an aside - this is NOT a touchscreen. If it is - mine does not work. Battery life is OK - not great. All in all I'm not thrilled - but I'll hang in there a little longer. EDIT - UPDATE 8 2 21. I give up. This machine is so slow, I've never seen anything like it. It has an SSD drive, some good specs - but I can't use it. I don't know if it's because it's refurbished - or not, but I've never seen a recent computer run so horribly. I usually hesitate when I read the word 'refurbish' but went ahead anyway, and now that I have the item I can safely say no regrets. Works fine, saved a lot of cash, especially considering how expensive anything with a chip in it is getting with the shortage. As a basic user (no gamer here) that surfs the web and does office type applications this is perfect. If you are a gamer you could add on an external graphics card through the USB of you need, as this 'puter is a good foundation. Plus it's red, and that's not an easy find! ... show more

This laptop is a thing of beauty and I wouldn't have believed it was refurbished if I hadn't ordered it myself. It runs very smoothly and the keyboard works perfectly; in addition the extra wireless mouse was a fantastic inclusion. Battery is quite serviceable as well. All and all I couldn't find a single flaw with this computer and I still can barely believe that it isn't actually brand new. ... show more
