I purchased this alternator for a 2003 Lincoln Navigator. The item arrived two days earlier than expected so five stars for timeliness. I inspected the alternator for any quality issues and it appeared to be well made (only visual at this point) and another five stars. I called DB Electrical at one point to confirm this part number for fitment even though I was purchasing through Amazon (rewards points, free shipping, etc.) Friendly tech rep, answered my questions, could understand him despite strong Tennessee accent (beats Asian). The alternator was a perfect fit on the engine and perfect replacement for the OEM. Five stars. I started my engine with fingers crossed and voila' it worked, no warning lights. Still working after a week. Fingers crossed. Five more stars. One year warranty (not so good, some vendors offered lifetime, but then what is a lifetime of a 2003 Navigator? I'm ready to kill it now!). Overall, I am very pleased with this product and recommend it to anyone needing this particular alternator. 135 amp. For other vehicles I can't say, but DB electrical appears to offer well made Chinese mfg alternators. Follow up: After three weeks, still operating perfectly. No issues. Improved gas mileage, however, when I sprayed CRC chemical cleaner on my Mass Flow Sensor on the air intake hose when I had it disassembled for the alternator install. Five stars again. ... show more

This replacement is identical to the original. So far the alternator has been installed for about month now. Everything seems to be working good. The only bad is the plastic bearing covers. They arrived brittle and cracked, therefore the feel off even before installation. I'm not sure how important of a role they play but I would assume the it help keep dust and dirt out for better longevity use. ... show more

I bought this product a month ago and it went bad and I can't return it to Amazon. Now I have to pay the mechanic again to replace it. It's not charging. It only goes to 12.5 V with the car on. I wish I would have listened and go with Auto Zone Lifetime warranty. Now I need to take it off and send this one back. ... show more

Great delivery time. Install was pretty simple since only two bolts had to be removed and the other two just backed out enough to allow the old alternator to slide off and the new one to slide in. Connections were the same as my ford. Car started immediately and the alternator put out 14.4 volts as specified. ... show more

The drive was updated with a one way slip which I have never seen. The engine deceleration is smoother with it and less noise. Been on the Expedition about 3k miles and is working great. Also saved around 125 bucks.
