This notebook also packs 16 GB of onboard 3733 MHz LPDDR4X SDRAM, a default 512 GB of flash storage, and an integrated Intel Iris Plus graphics processor that shares system memory. Externally, this notebook has an integrated 720p FaceTime HD webcam, a "new Magic Keyboard" with a "redesigned scissor mechanism... including 4 arrow keys in an inverted-T arrangement" as well as a customized "Touch Bar" with a separate esc key and a separate "Touch ID" sensor, and a gigantic "Force Touch" trackpad. I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was frustrating enough that I feel I need to warn others. I purchased a refurbished Apple 2020 MacBook Pro and it was a disaster from the moment I opened the box. The first red flag was that the laptop arrived completely dead, no battery charge at all, which is unusual for any electronic device. Once I plugged it in and turned it on, I immediately noticed several major issues: 1. Caps Lock Light Stuck On: The caps lock key light was constantly on, even when the MacBook was fully powered off. This was not just odd, but likely the reason why the battery drains extremely fast. 2. Broken Shift Key: The shift key (just below the caps lock key) didn’t work at all, making normal typing impossible. 3. Weird Screen Glitch: Every time I shut the computer down, it displayed a bizarre static screen (attached in photo), which makes me question if the internal components were even properly checked or replaced during refurbishment. I submitted a return request the same day I received it, and although the item has already been returned, I’m still waiting for a refund. Amazon's return process has been slower than expected, which only adds to the frustration. Overall, I’m extremely disappointed. I expected a working product, refurbished does not mean broken. I’m only rating this 5 stars for the chance it’ll go up on the top reviews! This computer sucked! My daughter was so sad, we bought it and it got there on Christmas. Though, it did not let her log in! Every time she tried logging in, creating a new account, a message popped up and said something about needing to contact chrome source. Chrome source NEVER got back, and the MacBook was practically useless, since you couldn’t log in! Refunded immediately! ... show more

very good conditions even though I put good instead of excellent. came with no scratches and non broken parts the battery isn't that good, it lasts 8-10 hours but its still good enough for me, screen came with no cracks, and I don't regret buying this product.

I purchased the item as listed being excel condition, but refurbished. Upon arrival, the immediate reboot of the MacBook was very noticeably turning on the fans. The bottom of the neck is extremely hot when checking the temperature as it was roughly 141°F. As for the touch bar, it was glitching, and I had just only started the device. Upon taking a video of said glitch in the LED Touch Bar, I had a flash camera on, and it was visibly noticeable that the keyboard was extremely dirty. Does the Mac book work yes. Does it feel like it is immediately noticeable that it would overheat, yes. Would advise against the purchase or at least monitor the specs upon first receiving the item. Also, when charging the device, it does take quite a bit longer to reboot. On top of that with the charging once it hits 100% you will hear it repeatedly make the fully charged sound if it is still on the charger extremely annoying one sleeping. granted it is purchased at a decent value, but at the same time because I was expecting to use this for a bit of a longer term within a year I don’t think this laptop would last that timeframe without causing major issues. I have returned the item due to the false durability of the condition that was listed as “Excellent.” ... show more
