I specifically went out of my way to find an M1 MacBook air because I like the design of this generation, and it has more than enough power for the tasks I do. I bought a new one originally from Walmart and struck out when it came with battery defects, so I decided to come to amazon refurbished and give them a try. I watched a ton of reviews, and bought this premium refurbished thinking it would be sold by someone willing to put in the time to do a refurbish right, but that's not my experience. I came into this with low expectations. I still understand that this is a refurbishment of a 5 year old device, but I was still so disappointed when this laptop showed up in a ziplock bag that was too small to seal, and a bunch of bubble wrap. the device was incredibly dirty. I had to scrape off weird crust from the delete key, and the body. There was a sticker on the back that I had to take time to peel off, and clean off residue, but the worst is how many crumbs, or flecks were all over and in the keyboard. I used a whole bottle of compressed air and a couple hours just trying to get everything out. I believe there's still crumbs stuck under the delete key causing it to not depress correctly. The crazy thing is if this device had been cleaned properly and shipped better it probably would've been great. I can only find two of the smallest scrapes on the body and they're both on the sides of the device where I would never see them. All the specifications are as advertised. The battery is at 92% with 208 cycles, the hard drive is the 512gb, and it arrived with an off brand charger as advertised. I do think it's cheap that it comes with an off brand charger, but if I keep this device I will probably buy one myself because the one it arrived with makes me uncomfortable to use as it is probably the cheapest off brand plasticy, black charger, and I do not trust it. My recommendation? Unless you're like me and ABSOLUTELY hate the notch on the newer MacBook airs go buy a newer refurbished model from apple themselves, or give back market a try before buying this. What a colossal disappointment. I took so much time to clean it up, and move all my data to try to make it work for me, but in the end I think I'll just be returning it. ... show more

the unit arrived in Apple packaging like a completely new unit... great price for a great computer (went for the M1 since it is a secondary laptop for travel... didn't need too much firepower... plus I will bash the hell out of it hahaha)

Entiendo que es un producto reconstruido, pero el que adquirí tenía el doble de RAM y de almacenamiento del que me llegó. Me sale muy caro enviarlo para devolución, opté por quedarme con el que me enviaron. El producto como tal es muy bueno, excelentes condiciones y funcionamiento.

I ordered the "renewed premium" and it was in like new condition. I received the OEM charger and cable too. The battery health was 96% with 31 cycles. For it being 4 years old, I think that is pretty good.
