Necessity for bodybuilders

I use a LOT of rice. Rather than having to deal with a big bag spilling all over the floor every time I pull it out of the pantry, or storing it in a smaller container that I'm guaranteed to drop and break when I pull it out (it's happened more than once), I wanted something to store it where it's easily accessible. This holds my entire bulk size bag! It fits perfectly on the counter under my cabinets. Easy to fill from the top, and the accompanied marked cup makes it easy to measure. The only con k minor) is that when you're running low, you need to shake the rice to the front door it to dispense properly. But overall, it is exactly what I needed and a worthy investment. ... show more

Perfect way to store rice without having to lift heavy bags
Color: Grey, White
I have purchased two of these dispensers now. This dispenser holds a 25lb bag of rice, keeps it fresh with a tight seal to prevent any unwanted visitors from taking up residence. One criticism is the measuring cup provided. If you go by the markings listed they are way off from any rice cooker. One cup marked on this measure is in reality two cups of rice measurements. This is, however, not a big deal, you are just aware of the measures and dispense accordingly. Very easy to use, just press the button for the desired amount of rice, and you only have to lift the heavy bag once when you initially fill it. I liked it so much I ordered another as a gift. Well worth the price if you use a lot of rice, or only use it occasionally but like to buy in bulk. ... show more

It's simple, but effective. I've been looking for something to more easily store my 25lb Costco rice bags that was more accessible when I needed to use it, and this is basically that. My only complaints are that NO, it did NOT hold my entire bag, it left about 5 lbs of rice remaining in the bag. Not the end of the world. Also, the lid did not seal shut; it's warped. I taped it shut, but it would be nice to have a top that actually closed properly. And finally, the lines on the measuring cup are in ml which I can use fine but it's not my everyday go to, and the markings on the cup are clear and hard to see, so I just wrote over the lines with marker. Otherwise, simple but relatively effective design with a few minor issues. Still better than me hoisting the 25 lb bag on the counter to dig around with a measuring cup in it, though. ... show more

Great storage!
Color: Grey, White

I bought a 25 pound bag of rice from Sam's Club and not all of it fit in the container, even though the description says it will hold 25 pounds. It holds about 22-23 pounds. What I love is the slim design and that it tucks neatly under my kitchen cabinet. There's enough space on top for me to store bags of dried seaweed, which is delicious on top of cooked rice! The container sits next to my stove and there is still room on the side for me to store my kitchen utensils. The best part of this is not having a floppy rice bag somewhere in my kitchen, be it the floor or shoved into a cabinet! ... show more

Easy and clean
Review Image by Zaya
I am happy to have this container, It is much more better than keeping a giant bag of rice inside of my pantry, this makes it so much easier to store my rice and dispense it. I did have this on my counter but after organizing my pantry, Looks very organized and clean, The measuring cup really makes it easy for me to dispense the rice out and then I just use that to pour directly into my rice cooker. I found this easier because I can wash my rice and then cook it, I can look at the clear window and it will show me exactly how much I have left and when I need to buy more rice. I am no longer tripping over a big bag but instead now have this dispenser the helps. You don't need to be afraid that the rice might get clogged inside when dispensing, it seems never happen. Easy to fill and easy to use. ... show more

Compact, functional and easy to use
I bought this because I was tired of seeing a bag of rice on the floor blocking a door or sitting in front of a cabinet. It seemed like a simple idea but I was not sure if it would function as expected. It arrived and I was surprised at how compact if was, so gave it a quick wash and dry and loaded it up. Happily this product did work as expected and my wife and I are quite happy with this purchase. The clear window in front give a great indication of reaming rice, and again the whole unit compact. The rinsing cup works well and that's saying a lot because changing how one is used to doing something is pretty rare. Overall, I'm happy with this and would recommend it to anyone looking to move from the big bag of rice to an easy to use container/dispenser that fits on counters, tables or larger storage/pantry shelves. ... show more

Very useful
Color: Grey, White
It holds a lot of rice, which is what I use it for, and is a good size that I can fit into a corner of my kitchen. Looks like the item listed and was totally worth it.
