To keep this short I bought this machine to replace a HP compaq for a retired family member. It had to be cheap and light so as to be useable on a couch but with a nice large screen and keyboard, which is why a tablet wouldn't work. I chose this based on reviews of its upgradability. The machine looks great feels great to the touch despite it being plastic and is very portable. The resolution is below HD but that makes the OS elements very large and usable for older eyes. I got this for $250 and change and I'm more or less pleased. The biggest drawback is the single antennae 2.4 wifi. It really slows down setup activities and certain large web information sharing operations. youtube videos are fine and things like emailing aren't affected much but cloud backup and sharing is confusing until I remember the antennae issue. The user will need patience for things like this, use ethernet or, a travel wifi device or, something. I upgraded the ram to 12Gb and this model came with an SSD. ... show more

This is a great computer for a student, someone who just wants to surf the web or watch a movie. I use if for hooking to my truck and writing. Good buy. Battery is a little lacking but thats ok.

A good computer for the price. I’m very happy with it so far. The screen is 14 inches. Most of the comments on here says it’s not but I think that’s cause they are measuring it wrong. Changing to regular windows 10 is easy and free !

Simple laptop the is able to do all basic computer functions without fail. Laptop had Windows 10S installed which was a bummer, although there is a free option from Microsoft to easily upgrade to Windows 10 Home (due to many customer complaints & negative reviews). Would have given this product 5 stars however the display is definitely not 14” inches, it is actually a little bit over 12” inches. The length of the laptop itself is about 12.75” inches, which is still below the 14”inch. Unfortunately ordered a travel case and laptop sleeve designed for 14” inch laptop, that was far too big/ loose for it. Due to false advertisement of a 14”inch display, I cannot give this product a 5/5 stars. ... show more
