The media could not be loaded. Bought this and the description in the product post said it was a "2019 Macbook 16 with 32GB RAM and 512GB Storage". I wanted this version specifically because of the known issues with the 2019 13" and 15" version keyboards repeating keys (which happened to my previous 13" 2019, but which apple repaired free of charge. Got this version and it was the 15" and not the 16" and had the error prone keyboard and not the updated butterfly keyboard described in the product description. My keyboard has the issue terribly and I cant press the "i" key without it repeating multiple times, even after turning off key repeat in system settings (see video of it in action). I couldnt even type this review without every "i" i hit repeating multiple times. Tried PRAM reset et. and nothing fixed the issue. In addition, the battery says it needs servicing and as soon as i charge it to 100% and remove it from the outlet, it goes immediatley to 0% and says it needs to be plugged in or shuts down on me; If I then plug it back in and it goes to 50% and back to 100% very quickly...so strange, but basically it needs to be tethered to the outlet which defeats purpose of a laptop. In the 5 hours I've owned it, the capacity of the battery has gone from 3800 to 3033. Last issue is that the touchbar flashes white colors randomly...I know thats not normal, but I would live with it if not for the other issues with keyboard and defective battery. In reality, I should probably be exchanging this for the 16" version that the description implied I was getting, but I dont trust the quality of the device from these folks as this one was listed as "Good'. If they want to send me a working version of the item that was advertised in the description of what I bought (the 16" 2019 with a working keyboard and battery), Id still question it because these issues are beyond comprehension of how they werent noticed by their team. Its as if this product was never serviced at all or reviewed before it went out the door or they knowingly sent me a defective product and maybe they forgot to update the description to list all the issues it had. ... show more

    • This model year prone to failures
Some may know already, but this model year is prone to failures of the Logic center. I did not know this before I bought. Battery was puffy but usable when I purchased. Now 5 months after receiving the laptop, 3 months out of resale warranty, it will not power up and I’m on my own. Likely a logic fault, I am seeking help from a local Mac tech. This and several other 2019 Intel-Mac models should have been recalled but never were. ... show more

The seller doesn't inspect this machine fully. They just cleaned the body and reformatted it. That is all. Later Macbooks are all components are stick together on board. There is no way to inspect hardware. I have received the Macbook Pro 2019 after a week. As soon as I tried setup the Macbook, I found that "a" key was not working properly and also, I found that "r" key was not working properly. I am wondering the seller had tested before they sold this Macbook. I requested to seller for replacement, but the seller said they need to internal discuss for replacement. Therefore, I returned to it through Amazon. Now, I have to waiting for another week for getting my money back. If you have a luck then you will get good used Macbook, otherwise, you get junk which it will dead soon or later. ... show more

The Macbook looks brand new, has very little to no visible signs of wear. I love this Macbook. The battery life is decent...I did not expect too much, but the capacity is as promised 80%. Will monitor it and update the review as needed.
