  • Low power source
I ordered this to replace a lost charger for a Pavilion 16 Gaming Computer. When I plug it in to use it a little screen pops up that states it is a low power source, please use original charger. Yes it does charge my computer. The description when purchased stated it was for a Pavilion 16.

  • Incompatible power supply detected
Power supply purchased to replace HP Omen 15 charger 19.5v 10.3A 200w. Windows gives an error message stating the power supply is incompatible. Under Linux it just behaves as if there's no power supply connected. Does not charge under any condition. After running HP tests on the battery, I believe this to be a defective power supply. ... show more

  • Seems to be a good replacement/backup ....
I had always had a backup or travel laptop power supply(PS) with my previous Lenovo unit I had to replace that 2012 one about 8 months ago and went with an HP Omen 16z-c000 with a 150W PS and until now, went without that backup, mostly due to the un-godly cost (>$160). I decided to try this PS because it's 33% stronger at 200W and much less expensive. On first glance it greatly resembles HP's OEM PSs and so far it doing just fine. It should handle this gaming laptop along with almost anything I plug in to charge in the USB 3 and USB-C ports, possibly all at the same time! The downsides: It's also about 50% bigger than the supplied OEM PS and both cords are quite a bit shorter. The only REAL complaint I have is that the AC cord uses a different plug into the PS instead of the usual universal 3-barrel plug generally seen in every previous PS for either laptops or desktops that I've ever seen. This forces you to have use their cord and one has to hope it lasts! Generally, I'm very satisfied, but only time will tell as far as durability. ... show more

  • Huge power with a small blue tip.
When you are getting a new laptop charger it is expected that they work right out of the box, and this one does that. It is a 200W charger with the small blue tip. It is always better to get a charger that is designed for your laptop. Those universal chargers are a bad idea, they can put out different voltages and can harm your computer, also the interchangeable tips have a lot of issues. When you buy a charger there are three things you need to look for. 1. Tip, make sure the tip is exactly the side and length you want. For example this HP charger will fit into dell laptops BUT will go in too far, and could easily break the charging jack, so only use this on HP laptops! 2. Make sure the voltage is exactly correct. If you laptop wants 19V then feed it 19V, more or less could cause damage. 3. Make sure the watts are more than enough. If your laptop calls for 65W it is OK and actually better to feed it more watts. It will only feed your laptops what it can handle. The main drawback to a charger with more watts is that it is bigger and heavier. If you get a charger that is smaller it will charge slower and may not even charge at all. ... show more

  • Works Perfectly
I got this for use with an HP Zbook 15 Firefly G7. Works perfectly. The old one I was given was only a 90W and it takes forever for the laptop to charge if I'm using it on the dock while it is charging. This new 200W is killing it! Earlier this week, I ran it down in meetings and put it onto the dock. I went out to grab a sandwich nearby and was back in 30 minutes. The laptop was almost fully charged when I returned. Couldn't be more pleased with it. 10/10. ... show more
