    • don't use more than 1200W (shown in hiveOS)
I tried limit testing (kind of) this power supply with ~1500W usage shown in hiveOS and it literally blew up with some black smoke coming out (no fire though) and obviously stopped working. It worked well when I was using it to power less than 1300W (again, shown in hiveOS, which probably means the rig consume more than that) for few weeks with no problem. Though it's said to be rated for 1800W, and in description it says no more than 1500W load, I personally definitely won't recommend anything higher than 1300W. 3 stars because the "2000W" is a bit misleading to average people and the fact it just blew up with loud sound and plastic smell instead of just shut down. They could've just put a fuse or breaker inside to limit the load. It could lead to potential fire hazard if no fuse/breaker was implemented. Will I buy again? Depends. If I know I'm going to use it for ~1000W load, then probably yes because this is cheap and it provides a lot of connectors. ... show more

Recieved the first unit and it was doa. Amazon replaced it and the second one is doa. Can't comment on load rating or noise because I never got one to power on! I did the rest as described on the product page and it did nothing. Save your money buy a different unit.

Ran OK for a month out of the blue had to do a reset and the unit will not restart. Jumped the 2 pins per recommendation to get the fan to run and it will not run.
