I am writing in case others are having the same problem I have. I am getting red/maroon leaves in ALL of my seedlings this year, which is the first year I am using these LED lights. It looks like I have the lights too close to the seedlings, which other than the red leaves are doing great. In doing a search online it looks like I should have the LED lights at a much higher distance (12+ in) than I did for my old T5 light system (3-6 in). So I raised the lights and will return if this does not do the trick. I also confirmed that I did not have the bloom/flower switch turned on (which apparently produces even greater light intensity). Other than this issue, I have had a problem with the light plugs being sensitive and if I bump the lights they sometimes turn off even though plugged in. I wiggle the plug and it turns back on. I have 2 daisy chained together. But other than these issues I think these are great lights for the price.

Great light , plants thriving seen, beware of the intensity , slight tacoing of leaves had to increase distance but its getting the job done in veg and sure it will produce , functions well , was iffy of blurple lighting but the plants speak for themselves ,low noise

New to using modern LED grow lights. Retired EE and I read someone else's review mentioning lack of safety should electronics fail (fire hazard). I agree. These have no UL, CE or CSA or any other regulatory certification claims anywhere inside or outside of the product - so I've ordered thermal cutout switches and will also add some 2A inline fuses. Total investment about $40 for two of these beautiful grow lights, and about 5 hours of my time - but worth it for peace of mind. My dragon fruit 'nursery' is right next to my house. Otherwise, solidly built, nice powder coated steel chassis all around, fans are quiet, and I can't look at the light without sunglasses, very bright. I've also ordered a PAR light meter, but estimate that these (the KS1200) throw out about 300-350 umol/m2/S for each of the two that I'm installing. I'm satisfied, would recommend for light and quality of build, but I also wish the maker had added thermal safety features (you know the fans are required for cooling the power supply inside, and I've seen fans die many times. To set my vinyl fence, grow tent or house on fire when unattended is just too much risk for me, personally).

Really good quality product at first I was iffy. Didn’t really see a lot Of reviews And as a first time grower I didn’t know what to get so I tried this out and it works perfectly fine. Plants are growing fast n the LEDs are really really bright once I go in the room n come out I see different colors would recommend to wear black glasses…I would Recommend these lights to anyone as a first time grower or just in general. Just got them haven’t had time to try and grow anything. Had them for one day. Plugged them in and they worked. That’s scout it at this time. Should have asked for a rating in a few months thin it might have need different.
