I use this on my 36 Ah lithium battery. This battery is usually for my fish finder and other misc stuff on the boat, but is also my emergency battery for the trolling motor. This breaker keeps the trolling motor from pulling too many amps. Also is a nice disconnect for the battery when traveling.

Using these DC breakers make things simpler especially with the reset switch that you can use as a disconnect if needed. It is supposed to be waterproof but I have it set up out of the weather so I haven't tested it with water exposure. Suggestion: Keep your electronics dry! If it has to be outside, place it in some sort of waterproof enclosure. ... show more

Installed this between my solar panel and the controller on a small camper. It provides a quick and convenient disconnect. It is installed inside of a cabinet, so I don't know how weatherproof it is.
