The media could not be loaded. The liner is thick and the right size. The liner was packaged nice and was easy to unfold in preparation for laying into our future pond. I was surprised that this liner is a lot more rigid the other pond liners I have used of the same thickness. It was easy to cut with scissors. I installed in in our pond and is filled with water.

I bought this liner to build a round 6 foot diameter garden pond about 16 inches deep. Being on the Big Island of Hawaii, we don't need depth, but I have koi in it so wanted somewhat deep. Also, I wanted weed protection around the pond. So we built a knock-out block stem wall in the shape of the pond, veneered the exterior of the wall with volcanic rock, being careful to make the top absolutely level. I pulled the liner over the top, filled with water and carefully adjust pleats to get it uniform in amount of liner showing. Then I cut it off at the outer edge of the top, finished the top with basalt pavers and left the liner around it and covered all of it with red lava rock. We planted it with xeric plants that do well with little watering and it is doing well - the product was easy to use.

This liner punctures very, very easily. If you intend on putting rocks in your pond this liner will puncture, you will have a very hard time finding it and are better off just completely replacing it. Avoid my nightmare.
