So in our area, the water leaves behind calcium scale as well as a orange residue and tends to turn shower heads green, this product eliminates all that which means that you're not getting any of that gross stuff on you when you shower and you can literally feel it! We now have soft water like in a fancy hotel, the soap lathers about four times as much as before and the water literally feels soft because the calcium, minerals and pollutants have been removed so you don't feel them smacking into your skin. I always wanted soft water but those soft water systems are a lot of work to keep running and are way out of my price range. Now I finally have it! I have a central water softener installed in my home and so these products couldn't give any further drastic differences in the quality of water but I would not mind keeping an extra layer of filter for something that we use every day. It comes with 3 cartridges in the bundle and hence a value pack. Overall recommended filter. My 2 cents below: Pros: - 20 stage of water filtration is the key feature of these - There is no reduction in water pressure after installing this as an additional layer - Build quality is good, however, looks like the shell is plastic and painted with a metallic chrome finish to match the bath accessories - It does extend the arm anyways and is so good for short people who find it difficult to reach out to the showerhead for changing mode - I feel it adds an aesthetic to the showerhead & it looks better by the appearance - Comes with all accessories. Includes plumbing tape and 2 small rubber washers for installation convenience based on your needs - It is very easy to install - They do tell after how many months filters should be replaced tentatively as that depends on how much you use it - It comes with 3 cartridges in the bundle so a value packs for multiple months of use. Overall reasonably priced - It has multiple finish options available to choose from Cons: - Replacement filter cost 3/4th of the price of the product so adds up expenses in the long run ... show more

This is by no comparison the same as a whole house water filter. Having said that, it does remove most of the chlorine smell and leaves my skin feeling softer than before. I am happy with my purchase.

It is a quality made filtering system that has various filtering materials that include ceramic balls, activated carbon, comma calcium sulfide, and other filtering materials that do a good job of purifying the water. It has 20 stages of filter materials that get the job done and make the water feel smooth, fresh, and chlorine free. I love that it comes with 3 replacement cartridges and each cartridge has 12000 gallons of water capacity. Ultimately it can last for up to 8 months with a family of 4 people. That really has made our skin feel softer and healthier. I have city water where I live and the chlorine in the water is a bit high. I had a super itchy scalp and I installed a sediment and carbon filter for the whole house. My scalp would be good for about 3 weeks and then start itching again. I wanted something for just when I showered to help prolong the use of filters, and found this.
