BUYER BEWARE - cheap product from China. The remote on this doesn’t work. The light is very bright and what I wanted, however in the space I have this in it is always on because the remote doesn’t link. When I contacted the company they gave me the exact same instructions as the ones that came with the remote. If the remote is the selling point on this light for you I would NOT RECOMMEND. Find something else cheaper. Cant return because I was lazy and missed the return window. EDIT: After some trial and error we were able to get the light to pair with the remote, however it is very finicky. The directions are poor at best and took following them to the letter to get it to work. When it connects to power the remote needs to be paired immediately (Within the 3 seconds of connecting to power). After getting through the pairing and remote process figured out I actually love this light. It is adjustable in brightness and exactly what I wanted. I would buy this product again! Changing my review from 2 stars to 4, since the pairing process was such a headache and the directions are poor. Overall, not pleased with this product. I’m only giving it a 2 because the light is bright and works fine. Otherwise it would be a 1 star for sure. ... show more

Installed 3 of these in a low ceiling basement. I ended using wire nuts instead of the connectors provided which did not seem to hold onto the wires from the lights very well. The included cable for attaching the light to the ceiling really helped during installation. I also found that because the outlets I had did not have wall switches, linking the remote became interesting. I had to cut the power at the circuit box to get the light into pairing mode. With all the lights on the same circuit, the first remote works 1 light. the second remote connected works 2 lights, the third remote connected turns all 3 lights on and off. workable, but not ideal. having a way to put the light into pairing mode without turning the light off would have worked better. ... show more

I bought three, one came broken becouse of the horible packaging. The remote controle made from the cheepest plastic iv ever held. If you squeeze to hard it will crumble in your hands. I don't think the app shown in the photos even exist anymore. If a company does not make the app it presents, and has no way to control its quality and consistency, they should not be able to sell it as a feature. I tried finding the app using various phones Apple and Android, the closes match looks like it could be an updated version but it has a 2.8 rating... most reviews are nagitive becouse it does not work. And no surprise, it did not work for me either. The light it self gets low scores as well becouse you can see that under the opaque cover, it is little more than a plastic ring lined with a strip of led lights. That would not be so bad except you can see the dotted rim of the leds along its edge and how some of them seem to have a connection issue becouse they are a slightly different color. I love the low profile slim design. My home was built in the early 1900’s so I was worried it wouldn’t work but I had no issue, it was simple to install. My niece is afraid of the dark so I half the brightness with the remote and use it as a nightlight. But my favorite part is the 60 second shut off delay so I can get dresses for bed before it automatically turns off. Well worth the money for everything it does. Highly recommend!! ... show more

Remote works well and is easy to pair to ceiling light. Easy to install and wire. I have the light wired to a switch(not necessary) encase I loose or break the remote, I will still be able to at least turn light on and off. Happy with the light output and the dimming feature of the light

Good light for the money. Very easy to install. Took me about 30 minutes and that's with just one arm since I'm recovering from an injury. One commenter had the instructions on how to sync remote without a switch and it worked perfectly. Only downside is the wire connectors. They are terrible!
