Downright dangerous. Flimsy and super flexes when you're on it. Scary. The rungs are not the normal distance apart so you have to take giant steps and, if you don't extend it all the way the first step in even bigger - close to 24 inches. Coming back down the ladder and trying to navigate the last rung is awkward and dangerous. I waited to long to use it so I can't send it back but I'll never use it again.     • Rungs are too far apart
Ladder was built well and is sturdy per the specs. But the rungs are just too far apart to be useful. Was ok when moving from one level to another and I didn't have to climb up and down while carrying items. If you think you will use this to paint a high surface, be very careful because it's just too hard for many people to step 17" to the next level without spilling paint. ... show more

    • The ladder rungs are a little too far apart
I recognized in the product information that the ladder rungs were 17" apart. At the time I didn't think that would be a problem. It is a really nice ladder and served my purpose, but it would be a much nicer ladder if the ladder rungs were closer together. It would make it much easier to use.

    • Not a stiff extension ladder
If you are used to the stiffness of a aluminum extension ladder, this ladder is not stiff at all. I have used this only three times and the ladder flexed so much at 18' height that I had to hold on for deer lift with every step up and down and had to have someone hold it for me. I would not use this again to change out the light bulb on the ceiling. It's going to sit in the garage for good. ... show more
