  • Very sturdy and worth the price!
Color: Grey Size: 20-29 Gallon
My twenty gallon high fits very well on this stand and it seems sturdy. For those who say the table is wobbly, the feet are adjustable and you can twist them until it is flush to the floor and the wobble goes away. Surprisingly sturdy - even though YES it is particle board aka NOT super water resistant, I am still very surprised at how stable it is. I can stand and move around on it and it feels very secure. I built this by myself with two toddlers in my hair, I’m not particularly handy (I don’t even know how to switch out a drill bit lol), but it took me maybe an hour at most. I didn’t need any power tools but I did break out the drill for the hinges because I wasn’t strong enough to use a screwdriver for that part, plus it was just easier. Just take your time and look at the instructions throughly before assembling. Double and triple check that you have the orientation on each piece correct as shown in the pictures and you’ll spend less time having to fix mistakes. The doors are crooked on mine but it is 100% my fault - I put the side pieces on the wrong orientation and definitely should’ve taken a few steps back and switched them but I did not feel like it so I drilled some new holes and didn’t even bother to measure, I just eyeballed it lol. That is completely on me and has nothing to do with the seller or item. I also don’t mind that the doors are different sizes, it’s nice because the bigger cabinet is large enough to store small tanks and the smaller can hold extra supplies. If they were the same size, it wouldn’t be possible to store a larger item. I wish the hole for cords was a little bigger to fit large extension cord plugs, and we could’ve widened it ourselves but I didn’t want to mess with the integrity of the stand, so I found a different cord with a smaller plus and just struggled to shove it through until I finally managed to get it lol. I am about to add a 10 gallon to set up as a quarantine tank on the bottom shelf. The bottom shelf seems FAR less stable than the top of course - I’m a little nervous about it holding the weight of a 10 gallon, but other reviews show that it is capable and so I’m sure it’ll be fine. If this withstands the test of time, I will probably be purchasing more of these in the future so I can continue to get more tanks throughout the house. Also, please ignore the low water level in my tank, I have hard water and ran out of safe water to fill it all the way but it’s just a fishless cycle right now so I didn’t hurry to run to the store and fill it all the way up 😅 overall I would recommend this item if you are willing to take your time to assemble and not rush through it! ... show more

  • Sturdy, as described, and mostly easy to assemble.
Color: Rustic Brown Size: 20-29 Gallon
This product actually exceeded my expectations so far. I usually expect panel wood products like this to feel cheap and scratch or bore out during assembly, but this is nicely prepared wood and it was very durable, no scratches and no over bored holes during assembly or since using the product. Regarding assembly: took me about an hour, but that was probably bc I was pretty sore from moving and wasn’t functioning on all cylinders. I highly advise to pre-bore the holes for the cabinets on all four of the associated cabinet panels on a flat surface with a screw from the ‘i’ bag about half way down the screw before mounting the panels and adding the cabinet hardware so you get a nice straight bored hole, it’s difficult to do it straight once mounted with the cross bar on the top. I also advise to not install the top panel before the cabinets and hardware, do the cabinets first, even though that’s not how the instructions are written. The instructions are fairly easy but I did get two parts backward and had to back track, so beware of that, but it also gave me a chance to test the durability of the wood since I had to remove and redo the screws and it held up well. Also the tools for assembly are provided, but if you have a small watt screw gun or sturdier Phillips head screwdriver, I recommend using that for the screws, though you don’t want to over torque them. Most of the bolts are hex and drive just fine with the tools provided. I opted to buy caster wheels for mine for easy movement to clean under and around, the diameter size needed is 5/16, the ones I got were 1.5 inch long stems, slightly longer than the stoppers provided but they fit ok with a nut and a washer on the bottom and it feels perfectly sturdy and rolls just fine. I couldn’t find shorter stemmed ones. I have two fish tanks, a 5 and 3 gallon, they both fit on top perfectly. All my gear and their food and stuff fits in one side of the cabinet, and I have a surge protector on the other side and was able to string all the plugs through the hole in the back to plug into it, which makes the aesthetic so much nicer not having wires stringing down the back to the outlet. Anyway I don’t do this often but I 100% endorse this product. If there are any problems that arise I’ll for sure come back and mention it. ... show more

  • STURDY, WELL-MADE, PRODUCT
Color: Grey Size: 5-10 Gallon
I was a little skeptical based upon past pressed-wood furniture purchases. This is a phenomenal product! I enjoy mechanics and building widgets, so this was an easy project. Out of the box, all pieces were there (what a joy!), and matched up against the provided schematic that came well-packaged. There were even a few hardware extras, which was a wonderful touch! I would much rather have more than not enough. I spread everything out on the kitchen floor and had it all built in an hour, roughly. I had no issues with missdrilled holes, cross-threading or alignment. The hardware is all heavy and seemingly well-made. There are tools provided within the package of hardware. A very nice touch are the soft-close hinges for the doors. There was a slight misalignment of the doors that was corrected by adjusting the hinges. In my experience with cabinetry, this is a normal. This purchase was for a 10-gallon shrimp tank. It is a sturdy, very nice-looking piece. There is ample storage behind the doors for all things aquarium including a pre-drilled hole for cording should a pump be utilized. It is quite functional including an open area beneath the doors. The 10-gallon tank fit well on top with just enough surface to provide a slight edge. Gray was on sale, so gray it is! The color is very nice providing a somewhat muted, antique barnwood, look. The black metal to gray pattern is a lovely contrast. I do not know if it is scratch resistent, but I would take measure to protect the surface as you build. I had a big towel on the floor atop vinyl just to be safe because you will be sliding, flipping pieces as you put it all together. If you build it on a carpeted floor, there should be no issues. Would definitely buy this product again. ... show more

  • Doors cause slight wobble but overall holds up
Color: Grey Size: 20-29 Gallon
I got this stand for a 20 gallon tank I have. I wrapped all the pieces to match my furniture better and changed the hardware and I really like how it holds up. I wish the base stand had a middle support leg or a thick base to keep the stand sturdier. It holds fine but when I go to close the doors, if I don’t assist the door closing the doors cause wobble. This is even after the fact that I’d leveled the feet and everything. The stand assembly was fairly easy with my own tools; it has a metal frame that supports the top stand within the storage area so the top tank feels safe with the horizontal support. The directions are a bit “draw the rest of the owl” so to speak, but it makes sense since a lot of what you do on one side you just mirror. I did install a side support on facing backwards that I noticed at the very end but it was easy enough to fix. The inside storage is okay, it would’ve been nice for it to come with an adjustable shelf insert or something along those lines but they hold quite a bit. I like that there’s a side with a bit more horizontal space. That said the center doors were a tad challenging to line up but thats a problem I have with all flat box furniture with this design and it’s not too noticeable with where I have it in my home. I like the side frame, I have a lot of my cables wrapped around it and the metal X style really helps me manage the cables and create drip loops without them being too much of an eyesore. Overall this is a decent stand with an okay amount of room. I have a little ottoman stored at the bottom that I pull out to sit on and look at my tank but I don’t know if I’d trust a 29 gallon plus an additional gallon underneath with the mild shaking I experience from the stand. That could be remedied by adding floor support to the base of altering the base to have more surface area touching the floor I think. That all said I like that this stand is a low profile, doesn’t take up much space and it has been holding my 20 gallon for months now. It has a decent amount of storage for some small things like food, conditioners and tweezers. While it may be a little unsteady at times I know that since I don’t have large animals running around where it’s located in my house it’s not as much of a concern for me. ... show more

  • Solid stand! We Love it!!
Color: Black Size: 20-29 Gallon
This stand is amazing! We purchased it for our son's 20 gallon snake tank. Ease of assembly: It was so easy to do. We followed the instructions with zero issues. Stability: It's very stable! We felt very safe housing Cornelius on top of it. The color is true black. We love that it had cabinet doors to store some of our extra accessories and we also took advantage of the bottom shelf! I wish they made a bigger one as we have to move Cornelius to a bigger tank and the new tank is too big. You will not regret this purchase!! ... show more

  • Great quality
Color: Grey Size: 20-29 Gallon
This stand is amazing. The assembly instructions were easy to follow, and the stand, itself, is extremely sturdy and beautiful. I put a 10 gallon tank on the 20-29 gallon size, because I like extra space on top to rest the air pump on.

  • Good quality
Color: Rustic Brown Size: 5-10 Gallon
Really decent stand that is sturdy and stable. I think the design looks good and I love that there’s a shelf on the bottom where I could add a plant and grow light. The wood-look print is pretty good. There are a few areas where it looks like the print had smudged, but it’s just part of the design I think. The doors are on a hinge that makes them close slowly which is fine because they don’t slam and disturb the fish. I have a 5.5 gallon on the stand which fits perfectly. I like that there is an edge around the tank because it feels less likely to fall off. I do have 2 complaints. The size of the hole for cords in the back is VERY small and was hard to fit a surge protector plug-in through. The other complaint is that it was really difficult to set up. The directions start simple then one page was incredibly hard to decipher. I’m giving 5 stars for a stand at this price point for the good quality and stability. ... show more

Color: Rustic Brown Size: 5-10 Gallon
suprisingly very strudy i was a little nervous ordering a tank stand off amazon but the stores don't really sell tank stands designed for more than one tank and i had two at the time now up to 4 tanks, this tank stand was bought for my 10 and my 5 gallon tank and they both fit perfectly on it with no wobblying. and the cabinet is perfect for housing air pumps for the filters and air stones, and other assorted fish items. its a pretty heavy stand and easy to move around when its empty. i don't see having a problem with it falling apart in the future. i'm totally going to order this in the 20 gallon tank size for my 20 gallon long tank since the stand i bought for it wasn't the best find. totally would recommend this to anyone looking for a fish tank stand that can hold up to more than one tank ... show more
