This outboard is exactly what I want. It has been very reliable and I didn't want a clunker. I just wanted something that would get me off the coast and allow me to fish all sides of the rivers and lakes near where I live. I did find that once I set the start gas position higher than recommended, as a motor start position, it started on the first pull almost every time. For the price, you can't go wrong. I have had almost no problems with this motor. I use it almost every weekend because I love to sail and sailing requires this big guy. And the motor starts up every time and starts fast.
