I did buy wire adaptors (see picture) that made the connections much easier. No cutting or splicing to retrofit. The speakers are basic and are slightly better in sound to the factory ones. Keep in mind that I am connecting them to a 25 year old, factory radio.

    • NOT true 6.5 inch Speakers
These are smaller speakers than normal 6.5 speakers. The actual speaker cone is 16% smaller than typical 6.5" speakers, which means that they move less air. If you look at the pictures of the speakers, you can see the 4 extra holes that are outside of the circle of mounting holes. Those are the normal 6.5" mounting holes. I haven't mounted them yet, but seriously... If you are going to sell smaller speakers, at least be honest about it. ... show more
