  • Solid battery, could use a level meter.
Size: 1 Pack
This is an inexpensive battery that works perfectly with my Makita-compatible charger and reciprocating saw. It charges easily and offers pretty good charge duration. I wish it had a charge level on the battery itself, but most tools will have a level indicator. First one was damaged in transit and non-functional, and the replacement arrived quickly and was in perfect shape. ... show more

  • A typical 3.0Ah POWER SHARE tool type battery. Useful tools in my experience.
Size: 1 Pack
In the spirit of owning one's mistakes, this is my second stab at writing this review. I wasted a lot of time by misidentifying the polarity of my POWER SHARE type-battery. A comedy of errors ensued and no longer belongs in this review. First of all, the descriptive "name" of this battery used to say something like "... Compatible with 21v tools..." Now it specifies Makita Cordless Power Tools. That may well be, but I happen not to have any Makita tools. What I do have are a few individual brands of 21v "Power Share" tools, most of which shipped with the two contact 21v pin type slow charger. One or two brand-labeled batteries were included. All of these batteries look just like this battery. Right down to the bold POWER SHARE embossed on the case of half of these batteries. Let me hasten to say that all of these brands have performed well for the price, and a few have greatly exceeded expectations. No shame on the name of power share. Only one of the nine batteries has failed to date, and I cannot be sure that was not my fault. In the picture, the four batteries on the right are embossed POWER SHARE, the rest are not. All the larger batteries claim to be 3Ah. The smaller are 1.5Ah. There was no mention of power share in the initial descriptions, and there is still not. I find this to be odd because that is the most direct way of identifying this as a compatible 21v battery. Granted, the four or five different brands of tools that have proven compatible did not all ship with or mention power share batteries either, but the identical minimalist chargers are a giveaway. One of these brands came with a slide-in base type charger. Also, very slow. Perhaps Makita has a more robust charger. The charger I used took 2.75 hours to initially top off this battery. This slow charging seems to be a feature of power share chargers. Drawing around 12 or 13 watts compared to the 40 to 80 watts of typical chargers. Slower charging is safer when in doubt as long as the voltage is correct. Every tool I've plugged into the Biusine battery has done fine. Even one rated for 36v. The mini chainsaw did great until drawing the battery down to 20v. (I suppose its batteries, which charge at 21v, must have two halves, charging in parallel and discharging in series.) I could have just reported the battery weight of 22.0 ounces, which suggests at most 3.5Ah of available power, but that would be an incomplete evaluation. Now, I can say on the basis of load testing and recharging power requirements is that 3Ah of available power is a generous evaluation. Four stars because the battery arrived about 1Ah under full charge and that it really does protect itself from over discharge by shutting down at15v. I can say that this battery is compatible in at least four brands of Chinese tools that I use very often because they have proven to be reliable. Recommended on that basis. I cannot confirm Mekita combability. If you are happy with 3Ah POWER SHARE batteries, this is what you will be getting. ... show more

  • Makita 18-volt clone, working fine!
Size: 1 Pack
The listing for this Biusine 21-volt, 6.0Ah Lithium-Ion Battery from the Biusine Store on Amazon says it's compatible with cordless power tools. But which tools? There are a lot of different brands, and they are not all compatible. I've looked at a fairly large number of power tools on Amazon, and have, at least what I consider, a large number of cordless tools. Mostly Chinese, that use either Makita 18-volt batteries, or Dewalt Max 20-volt batteries. If the tool does NOT come with a battery, they have said what battery is compatible, and it's always been Makita or Dewalt. Some tools DID come with batteries, and did NOT say in the listings if they were compatible with anything, but every one I've gotten so far has been compatible with Makita 18-volt Lithium Ion batteries. This Biusine 21-volt battery says in the fine print of the listing that it's a "Battery Pack replacement for Makita 18V 21V battery or Dewalt DCB204 DCB205 DCB206 Battery." NOT TRUE! I have both the Makita and the Dewalt systems, and this Biusine 21-volt battery IS compatible with Makita 18-volt tools, and the tools that did not specify which system they were using. It will NOT EVEN FIT on the Dewalt tools. Even though this is a Makita compatible 21-volt battery, and I have several Makita compatible 20-volt batteries, and the actual Makita batteries are 18-volts, all the tools work fine on any of them. The few volts difference doesn't seem to matter at all. Which makes sense. There is an acceptable range, just as the voltage in your walls can vary. Many appliances are rated at 110 volts, or 115 volts, or 120 volts. They all work fine as long as the supplied voltage is within the correct range. I have no idea how long this Biusine battery will last, but so far it's working fine. It took a charge on my Makita compatible charger, and works fine in the Makita compatible tools. If it fails unreasonably, I'll come back and report that, as I date all of my batteries when I get them. ... show more

  • Extra 21 volt battery for my limb saw.
Size: 1 Pack
This is a 21 volt Power Share battery rated at 6 amp hours. I’m using it on a small chain saw which came with a 1.5 amp battery. It fit and connects, and significantly increases the runtime of the saw. Power Share batteries are used on Worx equipment and are compatible with Makita, although I don’t own either of those to test with. Based on size and weight alone, I think this is more likely a 3-4 amp battery. It charges through a built in barrel connection which is extremely slow. I lasts much longer powering my saw than the original one does, but due to the slow charge rate two batteries cannot keep up with the tool. All of my other lithium powered tools will discharge their battery in about the same time the second battery charges, keeping things running all day. Maybe it will charge faster in a Makita charger. ... show more
