I just received my lapel microphone set, I am impressed with the quality of this product. I sounds great, you don't have to have the mic in your face unless you're outside in a windy or noisy environment. This is a plug and play set, the down side well the microphone and clip only face one direction so you have to be creative when placing it on your subject, also the dongle fits tightly if you have a case. I just received this today and will come back to update review after I’ve used it for a while. That said, wow, I am impressed. The sound and noise cancelling quality are pretty good but what has stood out to me already are the following: -the case itself has a charging port, which means you can charge it, and it will then charge the microphones. Same concept as AirPods case. So if your case is charged, your microphones will be too. Can’t speak yet for how long the charges last. Each microphone also has a charging port, so you can charge them individually as well. -the mikes have a mute button, making it so easy to well, mute, if you need to do so. -the receiver gets its power from your phone while it’s plugged into it, but it also has a charging port. So if you are using it and your phone’s battery is running low, you can plug your cord into the receiver and continue to use the mikes while charging your phone at the same time. Oh, and it magnetically sticks to its place in the case, making it hard to lose or fall out. -the charging cord it came with has two usb-c plugs on one end and one regular usb on the other. So you can charge both microphones at the same time or a mike and the case. But note that the regular usb is the only one that can draw power from an outlet. As I said, I’m impressed with the features for the price of this item. I can’t speak yet for durability, charging times or duration of charge, etc. But I’ll come back and update accordingly once I can. So far, I’d say don’t sleep on this. 1. This is plug-and-play and easy to use. 2. It can be used on a laptop or PC; however, because the receiver unit has side-by-side USB C and lightning connections, an adapter or extension cable is required. [I have not tried this on a Mac.] 3. This worked exceptionally well for me for meetings on Zoom and Teams. The sound is so clear that AI close captioning is remarkably accurate. 4. Having two microphones allows two people to each have their own microphone. This is a big plus for my wife and me as our Church assignment requires us to participate together in video conferences. 5. For some applications, the recordings were distorted, but that was corrected by going into the sound settings for Windows and reducing the input volume for the microphone. I just received these wireless microphones and have only used them once so far. The sound quality seems fine, but I quickly ran into a dealbreaker: they cannot be used with my phone case on. Since keeping my phone case on is non-negotiable for me, this is a major inconvenience.
