This item is a great way to mount a gopro or tripod mount screw to a paddleboard or other flexible surface. You would need to use silicone or PVC cement (not included). What I especially like is the inner piece that holds the gopro mount is made of hard (durable) plastic while the outer piece is made of a flexible rubber/silicone material to flex with the board. This is a perfect way to ensure it holds well over flexing. As a huge bonus it also includes a leash hole so you can have an extra layer of protection.     • Suction How?

I am not new to the use of suction cups and these are not going to work using suction. When I looked at what I got I expected some kind of adhesive but they did not come with anything like that and as I looked closer I am 90% sure that these will never suction down. First they have cracks where the 2 parts come together. Second they have no way to create that suction as they are flat and without a mechanism to draw up the center, or push the air out or create that vacuum/suction effect. Looks like double sided tape or marine goop for me if I use these. And I will find a way to use them so not worth the effort to send them back. ... show more
