A lifesaver if your child is too clever for their own good
THIS PRODUCT IS A LIFESAVER. My toddler is very curious, and has grown more in height and strength than the ability to understand common sense and consequences. Hence we cannot let him access any of my craft supplies. These currently lock my craft closet, decor closet, and cleaning closet, all of which have handles that traditional child-proofing can't cover. The adhesion on one came off the first time, but it was easy to fix. We installed the locks high up, and it's been a total game changer for safety in my house. 10/10 would recommend to anyone with a toddler.

Adhesive
Easy to use! only downfall is the adhesive backing came off the back of the lock side after only 3days, I superglue it back and it has stayed since. All in all worth the $$ and a great product.

Refrigerator cable locks.
Ihave used these before and have need for them once again for our new outdoor refrigerator at our Summer Camp. These are easily installed and hold very well and provide some security from usually unwanted curious teenagers. Make sure to leave a little slack to make it easier to unlock & lock again. I recommend these for my purpose or for youngsters you may have at home that are curious as well.

Great visible deterrent
I put these on my medicine and liquor cabinets as my child is getting older and I don't want any accidents. The keys are kind of flimsy but I think just having it there is a nice deterrent, I don't think she would ever try to open them. It also looks nice when she wants a sleepover and the parents want to know that their child is safe.

BEWARE OF THE KEY
So this is used for my office fridge in my office. Works perfect to keep the honest people honest. Obviously you can just rip it off if you REALLY wanted my energy drinks. We did find out as more people purchased these that ALL the keys are the same. This is unfortunate since that defeats the purpose. 5 other people purchased the same set for their mini fridges and all of our keys can open all 6 locks total. Not 1 set was different. The lock DOES work nicely and is quick to use. It is perfect for home use to keep the little ones out of cabinets, fridge, etc. Just beware of the key.

Not worth it
I bought these once and they worked just fine until I had to get a new refrigerator so then I bought a new set because they had worked out so well the first time but the new set that I got did not work as soon as I opened the packaging one of them broke and the other one didn't stick to the refrigerator that good so my kids was able to get into it I don't know what it is but it seems that things are getting cheaper and cheaper by the minute

These work great
These work just fine, I don’t know what these other reviewers are talking about. You have to unlock it to get the piece in then lock it . If it’s already locked then yeah of course you’re not going to get the string part in. I use these to keep my child safety gate double locked since my 2 year old figured out how to open the gates. And to keep the snack drawer locked. Had these for months now and still going strong even with him yanking on them day in and out. These work very well, Highly recommend.
