Works great! The batteries last a long time - I haven't timed it but it's probably in excess of 12 hours. My favorite thing is that they work with the USB connector that's built in to the controller. A lot of the 3rd party batteries don't use the built in plug, opting to replace the battery cover with their own which adds a plug to charge the battery. I'm not a fan of that, so I'm really happy that this battery is the OEM battery cover and charge port. ... show more

Fits perfectly.... Needs to be charged before use and I like that the cord is long and multi purpose (comes with 2 connectors so can be used for cell phones too) and I like that feature.... I also love that it lights up and changes colors so you know it's done and not overcharging. And as long as it stays plugged in on one end, it will stay lit. ... show more

These are pretty good batteries. They're also one of the very few batteries for sale right now that use the usb port on the back of the controller to charge the batteries unlike other companies/brand that use a separate port to charge the controller. That being said, the usb-c to micro adapter they include is a little fragile and not all that sturdy. It feels as if it will break instantly with any sort of pressure which is unfortunate but its not the end of the world. The battery life on these is long enough to play a few days and charge when you're done playing and even if you're not they charge up pretty quick too. I honestly don't think I have any major issues with these and time will tell whether or not the life of these are any good. Ive had some from a different company in the past that lasted for a year then held 30 minutes of charge at a time after a while. As for why this isn't 5 stars? Theres no way to dock these controllers. I know Im being very picky here but these would have been amazing if they came with a controller dock to put things out of the way and keep things neat. At the very least there should have been a dock for just the batteries so you could swap them out really quickly if you wanted to. Again, being very picky here but there are so many nice docks out there but they don't have passthrough charging through the port and you can't use the original battery cover. TL;DR - Get them. They're great. No dock but its not the end of the world. ... show more

My initial order had an undisclosed concern, but both Amazon and the manufacturer made it right promptly when I brought it to their attention, so good customer service. Now for the review. I purchased this product for my Series X controller, as Microsoft in their infinite wisdom neglected to include a charge status LED indicator on the cords of their new OEM rechargeable packs like they have on their old mini USB version. Microsoft should really just make their controllers rechargeable at this point, as Sony has been doing that for 3 generations now, but I digress. I have an OEM pack for my Xbox One controller, which works pretty well, but that LED indicator is crucial, particularly when playing on PC like I am with this controller, as the PC interface in regards to battery charge is totally unreliable with these packs, even the OEM ones. With that said, if even the Microsoft brand battery has its quirks, I won't hold an aftermarket brand to a higher standard, or be upset if it does the same thing, which so far it is. Now to the reason I purchased THIS product. It occurred to me that I could just use my Microsoft pack in both my PC and Xbox controllers, as I only ever play with one at a time, and swapping a battery is easier than constantly pairing and re-pairing the same controller between two devices like I had been doing prior to picking up another controller, so I started pricing USB C wires with LED indicators, and the cheapest I found was about $11, which isn't bad, but this product, at least at the time of my purchase, was $18, so I basically bought an LED USB C cord for $11 and then rolled the dice on a $7 rechargeable lithium battery. I can't say firsthand whether this battery stays charged for 35 hours, because I've only used it for about an hour or so since I've gotten it, but I can say that I'd be completely content with it if it holds a charge even half that long for the basically $7 I paid for it (subtracting the $11 I would pay for just the cord elsewhere). At this moment I am happy with my purchase. I will edit this review if that changes. ... show more

This thing holds a charge! I can go a week of playing a few hours every day without having to plug it in. (I do have my vibration off so that may affect it differently). I love that I can just plug it in and keep playing.

So far, so good with the battery pack. The battery life has been better than expected, and I really like how the LED light on the charging cable changes color to let one know that it’s charging and when it is finished. I love that it is a direct fit in the controller and doesn’t require a special battery cover. On that same note, my Xbox reports accurately the battery level in the OS, which makes the batteries feel like they are official hardware for the system. In the living room where I use the controller, the 10 ft cable is just a little too short to comfortably play while charging. A 15 foot cable would be preferable for many living rooms here in the US. That’s only a problem when the battery gets low in the middle of a gaming session, so the longer the battery life, the better! ... show more
